Netherlands: Muslim who stabbed Jews grew more devout in the months before the assault

I don’t know what happened. It’s not a period of my life I want to remember,” said Ewis Bakri Abdel Ghani.

Here is what happened: “Ewis Bakri Abdel Ghani had become more devout in his Muslim faith in the months leading up to the assault, during which he flew frequently to Egypt, the Colmanses said. He began praying outside his shop, reading the Quran and leering at them, they said.”

The Qur’an depicts the Jews as inveterately evil and bent on destroying the well-being of the Muslims. They are the strongest of all people in enmity toward the Muslims (5:82); they fabricate things and falsely ascribe them to Allah (2:79; 3:75, 3:181); they claim that Allah’s power is limited (5:64); they love to listen to lies (5:41); they disobey Allah and never observe his commands (5:13). They are disputing and quarreling (2:247); hiding the truth and misleading people (3:78); staging rebellion against the prophets and rejecting their guidance (2:55); being hypocritical (2:14, 2:44); giving preference to their own interests over the teachings of Muhammad (2:87); wishing evil for people and trying to mislead them (2:109); feeling pain when others are happy or fortunate (3:120); being arrogant about their being Allah’s beloved people (5:18); devouring people’s wealth by subterfuge (4:161); slandering the true religion and being cursed by Allah (4:46); killing the prophets (2:61); being merciless and heartless (2:74); never keeping their promises or fulfilling their words (2:100); being unrestrained in committing sins (5:79); being cowardly (59:13-14); being miserly (4:53); being transformed into apes and pigs for breaking the Sabbath (2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166); and more. They are under Allah’s curse (9:30), and Muslims should wage war against them and subjugate them under Islamic hegemony (9:29).
  • A Dutch man charged with the attempted manslaughter of a Jewish father and son claims he forgot why he stabbed them, JTA reported on Friday.

During the first hearing in the case, the victims asked the judge to consider a religious or racist motive, which currently is not included in the incitement.

Taha Ewis Bakri Abdel Ghani did not deny the assaults, which took place this past March, on Martin Colmans and his son Sharon, vendors in the Albert Cuyp Market.

The accused worked in a shop on the market and had had several disputes in the past with the Colmans and others, who complained to authorities about violence on his part.

At Thursday’s hearing, a lawyer for Ewis Bakri Abdel Ghani presented psychiatric evaluations to the Amsterdam criminal tribunal declaring him mentally unfit to stand trial for his actions, according to a report by the AT5 television station.

Along with the manslaughter charges for the stabbing of Colmans and his son Sharon, Ewis Bakri Abdel Ghani is charged with assault against Colmans’ wife.

“I don’t know what happened. It’s not a period of my life I want to remember,” Ewis Bakri Abdel Ghani was quoted as having said at the hearing.

Ewis Bakri Abdel Ghani had become more devout in his Muslim faith in the months leading up to the assault, during which he flew frequently to Egypt, the Colmanses said. He began praying outside his shop, reading the Quran and leering at them, they said.

Esther Voet, editor in chief of the NIW Jewish weekly, who attended the hearing, wrote that the defendant wouldn’t answer when asked whether the attack was anti-Semitic, replying only that his “brother-in-law is a judge.”…

Islamic primary schools across the Netherlands distributing anti-gay literature

Children across the Netherlands are learning to hate gays as Islamic primary schools operating across the country distribute anti-gay literature which teaches students that Allah destroyed an entire people because of their homosexuality.

The material comes from the book ‘Help! I am Growing Up’, which is required reading for sex education in Islamic primary schools around the country. The children’s book was released by the Islamic organization ISBO for 44 different primary schools across the Netherlands, NOS reports.

Regarding the topic of homosexuality, the book says that “the prohibition in Islam is based on having intercourse with someone of the same sex.” The book also says that transgender people are “cursed” by Allah.

Journalists at Nederlandse Omroep Stichting reached out to the Education Inspecorate about the anti-LGBT material contained within the book, and their response was as follows: “With regard to teaching materials, the inspectorate always looks at how this is applied in the context. These examples do not in themselves give cause to assume that legal limits are being exceeded.”

Micha de Winter, a Professor of Pedagogy at Utrecht University, disagrees with the Education Inspectorate, however.

“An important aspect of citizenship education is that children learn to think critically and to make their own choices. This textbook very clearly describes how you should live and whatnot,” Winter said.

“That does not relate to the Western way of living together, in which people have a great deal of freedom to choose how they want to live,” the Utrecht University professor added.

Last spring in Britain, Muslims at a school in Birmingham were taken out of classes to protest against a school textbook which celebrated LGBT lifestyles. The Muslim parents gathered outside of the Birmingham school and held signs which read, “Say No To Sexualisation of Children.”

Netherlands: Jihadists who joined terrorist groups abroad to receive passports back

Five radical Islamic terrorists who had previously been stripped of their Dutch citizenship will now receive their Dutch passports back due to a ruling made by the Raad van State (The Council of State).

In September 2017, July 2018, and April 2019, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Mark Harbers stripped the men of their Dutch passports after it was brought to his attention that they had joined terrorist organizations in Iraq and Syria, SCEPTR reports.

The withdrawal of their Dutch passports officially made the jihadists unwanted aliens of the Dutch state, which in turn meant that the men could no longer legally step foot in the Netherlands, or by extension, Europe’s Schengen area.

But the decision to strip the radical Islamic terrorists was overturned by the Council of State, reportedly, due to a technicality. Reportedly, officials from The Council of State contend that because the terrorist organizations that the men had joined were not yet included on the list the country’s ‘prohibited groups’, the action that was taken by Harbers was illegitimate.

State Secretary for Justice and Security Ankie Broeker-Knol (VVD) has affirmed that the decision to undo the withdrawal of the men’s passports was made for this reason.

In addition to having Dutch citizenship, the five radical Islamic terrorists also are citizens of Morocco. Their names are Driss Daouayry, Az Edinne Benaissa, Benyamine Fadlaoui, Mounir El Kharbachi, and Ridvan Öz.

Oddly enough, the decision to strip jihadists who travel abroad to fight for radical Islamic terrorist organizations is a hotly contested issue in many northwest European countries.

In March, Sweden’s left-wing globalist Prime Minister Stefan Löfven refused to strip Swedish Islamic State fighters of their citizenship, and has said that they have the right to come back to the country.

Denmark has been less lenient than its Scandinavian neighbor. Last spring, the Danish government decided that it wouldn’t recognize “ISIS children” as Danish nationals.

Netherlands: Mosque-run Salafist schools are indoctrinating children with radical Islamic worldviews

A joint investigation by Nieuwsuur and the newspaper NRC has revealed that children who attend mosque-run fundamentalist Muslim schools across the Netherlands are being taught to esteem Sharia law over Dutch law.

According to the report, these mosque-run schools are indoctrinating their young students to turn their backs on Dutch values, and that individuals with different faiths deserve the death penalty, Dutch News reports.

The news comes just after the release of a report by the Netherlands intelligence service AIVD about the ever-increasing influence of Salafism – a strain of Sunni fundamentalist Islam – at mosque-run schools.

Around 70 hours of audio and video material of teaching material was retrieved by journalists who posed as parents of students who attended the mosque-schools. The material shows that punishments in sharia law for ‘enemies’ and homosexuals were glorified by teachers at the schools.

The schools asked children to answer multiple-choice questions concerning proper punishment for a variety of crimes. Shockingly, answers included stoning, beheading by sword, and whipping.

Many of the schools encouraged their students that they should leave the Netherlands to go live in an Islamic country.

Last year, research from Nieuwsuur and NRC revealed that many Islamic organizations operating in the Netherlands have received funding from the Gulf countries in recent years.

Some officials are concerned that the money flows are being used to export Salafism to the Netherlands.

 Sobbing angry Muslims, because the Dutch are such awful racist who always attack poor innocent muslims.
Dutch laws increasingly target Muslims’ rights

A series of laws recently enacted in the Netherlands have increased discrimination against Muslims and the violation of their rights, Dutch academics are warning.

Martijn de Koning of Amsterdam University's Anthropology and Sociology Department told Anadolu Agency (AA) that legal regulations affecting religious groups have been made in the past in the Netherlands, but recent steps are now aimed entirely at Muslims.

In August, the Netherlands brought into force a ban on burqas — a full body covering including a face veil worn by some Muslim women – in public institutions.

Clothing that "covers the face," such as burqas or veils no longer to be worn in public institutions such as schools, hospitals and government offices or on buses and trains, authorities said in August when the new law came into force. The ban was first proposed by far-right politician Geert Wilders in 2005.

In May, the Dutch parliament introduced a bill for the second time to ban ritual slaughter of animals, which would prohibit the methods of humane slaughter followed by Muslim and Jewish communities.

In addition to the burqa ban and restrictions on the animal slaughtering practices, Dutch Education Minister Arie Slob in September ordered a review of schools providing Islamic education.

"Cases such as the ban against halal slaughter and restriction of religious education have affected other religious groups as well. However, with the recent ban on burqas, we have seen that the aim of religious regulations is aimed only at Muslims," Koning said, adding that this is a serious situation and the government needs to do something about it.

Professor Annelies Moors of Amsterdam University also told AA that politicians have used anti-Muslim rhetoric as a means of gaining votes that each restriction now targets Muslims.

Moors said that negative reactions toward women wearing burqas may increase because of the legal proceedings, noting, "Such restrictions trigger violence and discrimination against Muslims in the community."

Cross Cultural Human Rights Centre Chairman Professor Tom Zwart said that the Dutch government's intervention in the course content of Islamic education institutions and Islamic schools is a result of its efforts to make Islam "more democratic and European." He explained that while Islam instructs Muslim minorities to be committed to the country where they live as long as they have religious freedom, these restrictions harm Muslims' commitment due to the conflict of loyalties.

“People still associate ‘Allahu akbar’ with violence, while many visitors to our mosque experience it as meditative”

Because of international terrorism, people still associate ‘Allāhu akbar’ with violence or misery.”

Indeed. Even today. And those people are often Muslims themselves.

But will that tolerance be reciprocated once Sharia-adherent Muslims are in charge in Amsterdam? Islamic law forbids churches to ring bells. Imagine the embarrassment of Amsterdam officials when their church bells are taken away and some remember that those bells were used to justify the broadcasting of the call to prayer.

“Such non-Muslim subjects [of the Islamic state] are obliged to comply with Islamic rules that pertain to the safety and indemnity of life, reputation, and property. In addition, they…are forbidden to openly display wine or pork, (A: to ring church bells or display crosses,) recite the Torah or Evangel aloud, or make public display of their funerals and feastdays…” — ‘Umdat al-Salik o11.5

Also, church bells and the call to prayer are not equivalent. Broadcasting the Muslim call to prayer over loudspeakers would be more like reciting the Lord’s Prayer, along with a call to accept Christianity, over loudspeakers five times a day.
  • “Amsterdam mosque to boost call to prayer with loudspeakers,” by Janene Pieters, IQNA, October 8, 2019:

The Blauwe Moskee in Amsterdam Nieuw-West wants to boost it’s [sic] weekly call to prayer – the Adhan – through loudspeakers. A few dozen mosques in the Netherlands already do so, but the Blauwe Moskee will be the first in Amsterdam. The mosque’s board is organizing a neighborhood meeting on Sunday afternoon to inform local residents about their intentions, imam Yassin Elforkani said to Het Parool.

According to Elforkani, the louder call to prayer is partly a response to the social debate about the visibility of Islam in the streets, which flared up again this summer after the introduction of the burka ban. By making Islam that bit more visible in the public space, Amsterdam residents will get more used to the religion as something normal and unrest will disappear, he believes.

“We do not want to provoke with this, but try to normalize Islamic traditions”, the imam said to Parool. “Because of international terrorism, people still associate ‘Allāhu akbar’ with violence or misery, while many visitors to our mosque experience it as something meditative. The Adhan can contribute to the fact that Islam is finally seen as something normal in the Netherlands.”

Just like Christian churches are allowed to ring their bells, mosques are also allowed to make a boosted call to prayer at certain moments. Municipalities can set rules on duration and volume, but cannot prohibit it.

According to Parool, it does seem like Amsterdam is trying to discourage mosques from using loudspeakers for their Adhan. In Amsterdam Noord, where the Boven IJ mosque will be erected, the ground lease arrangement contains a ban on a reinforced public call to prayer, for example.

Imam Elforkani of the Blauwe Moskee on Henri Dunanstraat expects that the mosque’s intention to use loudspeakers will cause a discussion, but not much problems. “Amsterdam is a tolerant city, right?” he said to Parool

Dutch jihadi brides go to court to be brought home with their kids

A group of Dutch female jihadis and their children are taking the Dutch state to court in an effort to force their removal from prison camps in northern Syria.

The 23 women and 55 children are being kept in two camps and their campaign to be brought back to the Netherlands is supported by five law firms, broadcaster NOS reported.

The case will be heard on November 1. The court documents say that by not bringing the women back, the Netherlands is acting against international human rights treaties because the conditions in the camps are so dreadful.

Justice minister Ferd Grapperhaus said that ministers too are concerned about the conditions the women and children are living in, but that the women themselves chose to make their homes in Syria.

The safety of Dutch officials would be at stake if they were to travel to northern Syria to bring the women and their children back, Grapperhaus said.

The Netherlands will only work towards repatriating its citizens if they report directly to a Dutch diplomatic mission in Iraq of Turkey.

Young children There are currently 210 children in Syria and Turkey with Dutch nationality through their parents, around a tenth of whom are thought to be older than nine.

In January, the Dutch children’s ombudsman renewed her call to the government to bring back children who are stuck in camps in Syria because their parents supported IS. ‘The development of these children has been seriously threatened by their parents’ choices,’ the ombudsman said. ‘If parents cannot protect their children, the government should step in.’

Those nitrogen emissions rules are there because of Natura 2000. Natura 2000 is a network of nature protection areas in the territory of the European Union.

In Holland it seems, we need more heather and sand-drift than farmland.

Dutch farmers protest unfair treatment in efforts to cut emissions

Netherlands — Dutch farmers drove their tractors in slow-moving convoys to a massive demonstration Wednesday to protest their treatment by the government as it seeks to rein in carbon and nitrogen emissions.

It is the second major protest this month by Dutch farmers who say the government is unfairly targeting them as it seeks to slash emissions.

“They blame agriculture for everything at the moment because of nitrogen emissions,” said farmer Jans de Wilcher.

He added that “we as a sector store far more nitrogen than we produce. So we are actually helping the Dutch problem rather than making it worse — so why do we get the blame?”

One tractor in The Hague bore a sign saying simply: “No farmers. No food. No future.”

DUTCH HOUSING FOR ASYLUM SEEKERS OVERCROWDED

The reception centers for asylum seekers in the Netherlands are currently filled to bursting, the central agency for the reception of asylum seekers COA said on Thursday. So far this year, the COA sheltered nearly 27 thousand people, just below the level of 2016 when the Netherlands was dealing with the aftermath of the refugee crisis, NU.nl reports.

The COA has been using its reserve capacity since mid-2018 due to a larger than expected influx of asylum seekers. These 2 thousand 'reserve' beds are currently full, and the largest asylum center in the country in Ter Apel is almost filled to capacity. This means that protected housing for members of the LGBTQ community will soon have to be used for heterosexual asylum seekers, the COA said.

There are multiple reasons for the full centers, Werner van Bastelaar of the COA said to NU.nl. The number of asylum applications increased somewhat over the past months, though this number is still hundreds below the same period last year. In the first three quarters of this year, 16,530 asylum seekers and 2,920 family members arrived in the Netherlands, Statistics Netherlands reported based on provisional figures on Thursday.

Another problem is that there are 5,500 people with refugee status who cannot leave the asylum centers because of the shortages on the housing market - no home can be found for them. "There are municipalities that place asylum seekers in accordance with the agreements, but also municipalities that are behind", Van Bastelaar said.

And finally, asylum seekers have to wait longer and longer for immigration and naturalization center IND to process their asylum application. The service had to recruit more staff last year to deal with ever increasing waiting lists, and in April more measures were taken to reduce processing time. But it did not have much effect. As of March, asylum seekers with a relatively good chance of getting refugee status and a residency permit in the Netherlands have to wait 28 weeks for their application to be processed. For asylum seekers whose cases need to be investigated, the waiting time is now 46 weeks.

Authorities in the Netherlands arrested a Dutchman muslim at Schiphol Airport after Swedish officials accused the man of producing terrorist propaganda, the Dutch prosecution service OM said on Friday. He was living in Sweden for the past three years and was deported on Wednesday as an undesirable alien, the OM stated.

The 28-year-old was “was arrested after arrival at Schiphol on suspicion of involvement in terrorism.”

He became the focus of an investigation because of his online behavior, which uncovered ties to ISIS, the OM said.

“According to the Swedish authorities, the man is engaged in producing and distributing IS propaganda, such as video clips, photos and articles,” the OM said.

He was remanded into custody by a magistrate in Rotterdam on Friday. He will be held for two weeks in solitary confinement while the investigation into his case continues in the Netherlands.
And today, they also arrested another jihadist from Syria in a asylum centre. He was a commandant of the terror organisation Ahrar Al Sham, and they accuse him of terrorist activities.

We let them in, and now we have a lot of problems. Do we want them? Hell no... :no1: But can we send them back...
The answer is also no.

AMSTERDAM: Muslims want to blast the Islamic Call to Prayer through loudspeakers despite strong objections from the Dutch population. They want to make the shouting of the Islamic War Cry, “Allahu Akbar” acceptable to the non-Muslim public, in order to spread Islam through the Netherlands.

Amsterdam mosque wants to broadcast the call to prayer to normalise Islam

A mosque in the Amsterdam district of Nieuw West wants to become the first in the Dutch capital to call worshippers to Friday prayers using loudspeakers.

The Blauwe mosque and cultural centre hope that the call to prayer will help ‘normalise Islam in this beautiful world city of Amsterdam,’ the mosque’s leaders say on Facebook.

They have organised a meeting with locals on October 20 to discuss the idea. The news immediately led to a storm of social media comment, with the anti-Islam PVV tabling parliamentary questions.

Imam Yassin Elforkani said he had expected the criticism. ‘We are not trying to provoke, we are trying to normalise Islamic traditions,’ he told the Parool. ‘People associate “Allahu akbar” with violence and trouble thanks to international terrorism, but many visitors to our mosque experience it as a meditation aid,’ he said.

‘The azan can contribute to Islam finally being seen as normal in the Netherlands.’

The Parool said that the Muslim call to prayer has the same status in law as church bells, and that city councils have the authority to determine limits.

In Leerdam, for example, the local mosque is allowed to make the call for prayer for four minutes on Friday afternoon. A daily call to prayer, such as by the Ulu mosque in Utrecht, is extremely rare in the Netherlands, the paper said. The wish for a call to prayer in Amsterdam comes just weeks after derision greeted a call by a newcomer for the Westerkerk church bells to be quietened at night.

Bad luck and disappointment for the Muslims in Amsterdam. Last night, some very naughty boys climbed on the roof of the mosque and cut the cable of the sound system. Therefore there was no call to worshippers to Friday prayers while using the loudspeakers.

No doubt such is taught in schools in the UK. It's a long time since I had anything to do with them, but by all accounts they're hotbeds of leftist indoctrination. Softening the children up ready for complete brain-washing in the universities.
