It's all about the power of knowledge - where knowledge is power. From early age Jews are educated to seek and acquire knowledge as form of service to society and means for self defense.

That explains the reason Israel today is one of the most advanced countries on earth. Per capita, more startup companies are formed there then any other country - even US.

O.k,I assumed word puzzles to be zig saw puzzles.Also the above person says that Africans have the lowest I.Q.However I have known one senior of mine from class 6th to class 10th whose name was Kalyaan Baabu.He was a converted Christian.Not only was he of completely black complexion ,but his facial features also resembled those of the black race to a large extent.However he was the son of salaried parents,both of whom drew relatively good salaries.So perhaps he was fed a good iron rich diet.

He passed Engineering and works as a software engineer.So perhaps there is too much of generalisation with regards to blacks.

NS, the crucial word is "average". Some groups ON AVERAGE have a higher IQ than others. That does not mean that ALL members of that group are more / less intelligent than others.

It just means that fewer/more people fit into the overall top 5% in one group compared to another. In the overall human population, 5% of them have an IQ over 125. The "middle" value is 100. 5% have an IQ below 75.

If you select some smaller subgroup, you find first the middle value may be different. Not only that, the "spread" may be different.

It would be rather silly to draw conclusions about an individual based on just such data.

I know of another person who was a classmate of mine for the year 1999-2000 who was good at studies.He was the son of a rich sailor and was known to drink a lot.He was a bit casteist as he belonged to one of the two dominating castes of my linguistic land,but he too looked very much similar to a person of the black race with completely black complexion.

SAM, intelligence is influenced by many factors, genetic first, but also cultural. Some cultures value intelligence and education more than others and some cultures have more wealth than others to put into education.

That is why first you see POOR countries often haveing a lower average IQ. But there is also a correlation to Islam: Muslim countries have a lower average IQ than most Western countries. Despite of the oil wealth, in many Arab countries the average IQ is quite low. (84 or thereabout in most of them.)

Now in my childhood I have read a story about sage Valmiki.That sage's original name is Ratnakara and he is a tribal or was raised tribals.He lives by dacoity. Now sage Narada who happens to pass by in that forest once asks him why he is resorting to dacoity. Ratnakara answers "to feed my wife and kids".Then Narada asks Ratnakara to go to his home and ask his wife and children if they are ready to share the burden of his sins in the hereafter.He goes home,asks that question and gets the answer "as a husband and as a father it is your duty to feed us , then why should we share the burden of your sins?"

Now there are some cultic tendencies in the above story.

Dejected,he Ratnakara shuns his family,observes penances etc and turns into a sage.So per this story every individual is free to share or not to share the burden of sins of his family members.The same idea can be seen in the practice of the ritual of voluntary Suttee where the woman who commits self sacrifice will free 7 generations of the bygone ancestors of both her paternal and maternal sides as well as the sins of 7 generations of would be descendants.Needless to say that she had become a scapegoat for somebody else's sins.

In the Telugu film Murari,the goddess curses a family whose ancestors tried to rob the temple that every generation of the offspring will lose a male as a punishment.But in the end,the hero who hails from that family is spared when his grandma takes up that curse upon herself and sacrifices herself by drowning in a river.Now someone else was punished for someone else's sins.

Same can be seen even in the 1990s film of Bhairava Dweepam where the mother of the hero,takes upon herself the curse of her son by praying to the mother goddess i.e curse swapping takes place similar to the concept of scapegoat in Judaism.

When the British asked the Hindu theologians to present alternative interpretations against the Sati/the Suttee as they called it,they were given those interpretations.Now prominent Hindus of those periods raised a hue and cry saying that those interpretations are presented by drukard and philanderer ones and hence are not valid.

Now that line of interpretation is in line with the veggie line of many Hindus of today for the ritual of Sati is extremely violent , though a rarity.To paraphrase things in short,what Hindus like as of today are the interpretations of those drunkard and philanderer theologians.
