I am not a Muslim, but I say hello anyway...

If you want to meet an ex-Muslim, we have a few here.

Me! Always knew it was rubbish since teens and now I am in my 40s.

Its caused me lots of pain- still living with the legacy.

I really want to share my story.

In a 5-6 weeks I am going to have more privacy and will share then if not before.

But I am being careful and urge others to be careful. Dont get carried away by getting over optimistic.

Likely they wont kill me, live in uk afterall, but I stand to lose inheritance and job.

Thanks to all the people who contribute on forums and site.

And btw I am not going from one faith to another faith and cannot understand why anyone would if they have access to the wealth of material to educate themselves on the internet.

Muslims are so secure in their faith that they need to kill those who don’t share it.

When I started questioning Christianity in my teens, I just lost faith in God altogether and I was an atheist for many years. Islam made me believe in God again and in his messenger, then I started questioning Islam and lost faith in the messenger but not in God, entirely... Now I believe there's some intelligent greater power, and we can get closer to it when we appreciate the beauty of this world or reflect on nature or meditate, but I can't ever define God and I don't see the sense in praying to him in the style of the Abrahamic faiths... a friend told me this makes me a Deist ;)

Thanks, it's good to be here.

How could the intelligent power that created the beauty of the world also not bother about the harsh reality of abrupt end to appreciating such beauties to countless living beings (sometimes in most torturous ways) by making them part of food chains? For this reason I believe either that intelligent power is not all-powerful or does not exist at all.Atheism seems more convincing to me.
palli or halli in Dravidian languages means a village just like gaav in Aryan languages means a village.palli or halli in Aryan Mauryan Imperial era around 200 B.C designates a tribal hamlet. So many of those in South India are indeed descendants of tribals and are still keeping up that heritage.

Welcome fantasea and Jay-z. I hope you can find help here. It seems terrible to have to fake it, especially during Ramadan.
