Which Religion to change to?

I hate being Muslim. I dont like other religions either. What should I convert to? Atheism is no option in India. The Government doesnt recognize atheism.

First, ALL religions and their gods, without exceptions are man made. Any religion you chose, is unreal, made up by humans, for the sole purpose of controlling others.
There are no gods, except in people's minds.

You say that the government doesn't recognize atheism. Your beliefs, or lack thereof is not the government's business. Your mind is your own.

I suggest that you live by the conscience that "god" gave you. If you need a guideline then there is none better for mankind as a whole than to live and treat others according to the Golden Rule where you treat others as you would have others treat you. This is fair to everyone.

The government doesn't recognize atheism? As in what? Most govt id cards issued don't even mention the religion. The government doesn't oppose atheism. There's a large number of atheists in India (ex Hindus mostly, many ex muslims keep apostasy secret for obvious reasons). They don't face any oppression. I'm smelling rats here.
