are there good things about Muhammad?Re: are there good things about Muhammad? The Jewish prophets were not Muslims, more like Muhammad and his followers are Jews. They clearly worship the god of the Jews, carefully created by the Jews from the deities of other nations, mostly the Egyptians and Canaanites with a little Babylonian tossed in. YHWH didn't even exist in its commonly known form in the time of Moses. At that time the god was seen as a simple being who only wanted people to do 10 things. By now he wants to dictate every aspect of their lives. That's the form that Muhammad chose to follow, so he's a Jew of the late type. Muslims can call themselves whatever they want but they are obviously really Jews, just heretical Jews who don't want to go along with the others and prefer their Judaism with a good amount of paganism added. Any religion that worships the god of the Jews is a Jewish sect, either orthodox or heretical. Saying that the Jews were really part of the heretical sect known as Islam is like saying that the Jews were really Christians.
Re: are there good things about Muhammad?
You have asked (with your beautiful voice), in lieu of what he said in the Hadith, how Muslims still believe, and moreover follow this man? The answer is simple - it is fear, through which keeps this man's iron fist over their lives for so long. It is fear and intimidations which Islam is still glued together. He left behind an insidious and self perpetuating system, for the man as the strongest element of society, to keep and maintain that system of fear - otherwise, Islam would have been transformed into totally somethings else a long long time ago. Nowhere in the history of mankind where one man, have instilled so much fear, on so many people for so long.
Re: are there good things about Muhammad? When I say Jesus(pbuh) was a muslim, I even show you the proof:
Jesus(pbuh) was a muslim. John 5:30 (New International Version) 30 By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me. Even he prayed as the muslims do. "Going a little farther, he [Jesus] fell with his face to the ground and prayed, 'My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.' (From the NIV Bible, Matthew 26:39)" You want to us to believe whatever crap you post here. Get out of here.
Re: are there good things about Muhammad?
uncung&co: Jesus was NOT a Muslim. He did not practice Sharia,he did not perform Hajj,he did not worship at the Kaaba,he certainly did not worship the same false god of Mohammed, which was Hubal the chief moon god of the Kaaba.Although he did submit His will to His Father in Heaven, this was through the power of love, the same sort of love Jesus advocates his diciples to follow throughout their lives. Your quotes from Bible sources, illuminates perfectly how Jesus's will was in accordance with the will of His Father e.g."Yet not as I will, but as you will." Throughout the Gospel, the concept of this love is consolidated, culminateing in Jesus' death on the cross,as a sacrifice for mankind sins. I would be very careful uncung, your quoting from the Bible, leads directly towards belief in the Christian God,who is Jesus.Consequently, it is more than obvious, that this God,who took human form has far more to offer, than a belief in a celestial being, because you can have a personal relationship with Him.
Re: are there good things about Muhammad?
Lying comes naturally to Muslims. Muslims are so desperate for converts that they will lie through their teeth. Islam did not exist when Jesus was living. Even Muhammad's parents were not Muslims. uncung, are you a desciple of Zakir Naik? The first rate hypicrite Naik is famous for finding similarities where none exist, like Muhammad's arrival is predicted in the Vedas. Naik calls Hindus kaffirs but he has no shame to make use of Hindu scriptures to decieve non-Muslims. Mr. uncung, you are just as hypocritical. Do you really think that by making idiotic claims we would fall in to Islamic nightmare and start emulating your pedophile Prophet? वासुदेव कुटुम्बकम्।

Re: are there good things about Muhammad?Good muslim should obey to all of Allah's command and prohibition as stated in the Qur'an and explained in hadith and not just only to peform mandatory prayer 5 times a day at timely basis. He/she should have good akhlaq or behavior to follow Muhammad pbuh Kissing, embracing, hugging and flirting with non mahram are not allowed in Islam Slandering, backbiting and gambling are not allowed in Islam Stealing, cheating and mocking/bullying are not allowed in Islam etc etc You must treat your parents tenderly and respectfully with honor We are not allowed to say hard words to our parents
Re: are there good things about Muhammad? But what if your parents are jerks and they DESERVE some harsh words? They're just exploiting the Islamic rules so they can act like jerks to their children and not have to listen to any complaints about it. Why the rules about everything? That just creates bottled up resentment. Allah sure isn't Dr. Phil, is he.
Re: are there good things about Muhammad?
uncung: You say "Good muslim should obey to all of Allah's command and prohibition as stated in the Qur'an" The Quran says "Fighting is prescribed for you,and you dislike it"intimating that Muslims should like it,because fighting is good for you. 2:216 How does this "fighting" manifest itself in a Muslims life, taking into account that Muslims"should have good akhlaq or behavior to follow Muhammad"? The Quran says, Muslims should "not take Jews and Christians for friends and protectors" 5:51 How does this non friendship manifest itself in a Muslims life? From what I see,Muslims will only shake hands in "peace" to their fellow Muslims,I have yet to see a Muslim give their brotherhood handshake to Non Muslims.Does this mean Muslims see themselves as "better people",as the Quran tells them. This sort of command from Allah,is divisive,it does not allow Muslims to see ALL of humanity as their brothers and sisters,it commands them to live separately. Is this one of the reasons why we see Muslims living in enclaves? You may congratulate your self that you may not steal, cheat ot mock, but all at the expense of not having fellowship with the rest of humanity. To be told all Non Muslims are unclean, not to be associated with, and to even fight and subjugate them, is highly detrimental to a peaceful co-existance with your fellow man. Why are you following teachings that tell you to do this, and what "benefit" does it ultimately hold for you?
Re: are there good things about Muhammad?
Wow, you're such a scholar, you really don't know what you're talking about. You should command that the Qur’an be collected.’” Abu Bakr added, “I said to `Umar, ‘How can we do what the Prophet never did?Jeremiah 31:25 "there will be no more Jews on the Earth when the sun, moon and stars stop shining," i.e. the end of the Earth and civilization.
Re: are there good things about Muhammad?
And Yet, when they asked him how should we pray, he didn;t get down on the ground. Did he? He also told them it was okay to pray in secret, and not to do it whereever, and whenver. Like most muslims.
Re: are there good things about Muhammad?[quote="uncung"]When I say Jesus(pbuh) was a muslim, I even show you the proof:

John 5:30 (New International Version) Even he prayed as the muslims do. uncung: As a P.S. to LCD's post, and to further refute your claims,in Matthew 6:5.15 Jesus teaches his followers how to pray,by speaking to "Our Father,in heaven,to forgive others the wrongs they have done to us".Only when you do so,your Father will also forgive you. Where in the Quran does it say the same, as it should do,the Gospel, after all, is confimed in the Quran in 5:46,5:47 and 5:48? Where in the Quran is Allah called "Father"? Jesus also instructed,"When you pray,go to your room, close the door, amd pray to your Father who is unseen" Matthew 6.6:7 Jesus, said to one of Islam's prophets is asking his followers to commit "shirk",completely overturning Allahs commands. Why so many contradictions,if Allah is continuing his previous message to mankind?
Re: are there good things about Muhammad?Interesting verses.
Yup, the Quran tells us that the Gospels are true. They (presumably Allah and the other 360 Kaaba gods) "vouchsafed" the Gospels unto Jesus. Therefore, the Gospels are the word of Allah. Also the next verse is interesting.
Oh, I get it. Only Arabs need to do any of that weird stuff in the Quran. They got a different set of laws from everyone else. We don't need to abide by their laws unless we're Arabs. We have to wait for Allah to send a messenger from among the westerners to reveal our special laws to us. So far Allah had gone very easy on us. We can do whatever we want. Or you could say that Jesus was speaking to the Gentiles so that was our laws too. We have to do whatever Jesus said and the Arabs have to do whatever Muhammad said. Sucks to be Arab, huh? Our laws are way easier. No five daily prayers for us. Allah knows we have better things to do with our time but Arabs don't. We have to be nice to everyone and Arabs have to fight with everyone, it's ordained by Allah. Allah commanded the Arabs to fight with everybody else but told everybody else to turn the other cheek. Apparently he wanted the Arabs to kill everybody else and for them not to resist. Pretty weird thing for Allah to want but Allah knows best. Fortunately, the Jews ignored Jesus and just trashed the Arabs instead of turning the other cheek. Also fortunate that the crusaders and Templars ignored Jesus. Actually following the words of Jesus would have been suicide. Nobody wants to end up like Jesus did. The meek don't really inherit the earth, they just get killed or dominated by the Arabs, who are the only ones Allah saw fit to allow to go around killing everybody else and get rewarded for it. Strange how Allah didn't foresee the Jews not submitting to his every additional demand and repeatedly preferring the idols over him. He should have chosen the Arabs instead of the Jews as his people right from the start. Those were an easily subjugated people with little self respect or urge to think for themselves, unlike the troublesome Jews. How come Allah didn't figure that out until the 7th century? He was looking for people who didn't mind being his private worship-bots, not people who actually value freedom or doing productive things with their time. It's just rude not to spend your entire life doing nothing other than worshiping Allah, from his point of view. He made the mistake of letting us eat from the Tree of Knowledge. Then we realized how stupid it was to spend our time telling Allah how great he is. Never even should have made that tree. That was the dumbest thing Allah ever did. Once you have knowledge, you don't really see worshiping Allah as an interesting thing to do anymore. Arabs just have 99% less knowledge than others, that's all.
