The above link has ~8 translation from different sources in English
which includes 1). Transliteration 2). Sahih International 3). Muhsin Khan 4). Pickthall 5). Yusuf Ali 6). Shakir 7)Dr. Ghali and 8). Tafsir al-Jalalayn.
Also it has translations for other languages.
in the modern times, it is vital to check all these translation with original Arabic ones to make sure they are doing correct translation . Often these well educated guys tries to soften a bit to make Quran acceptable to larger Population..Albanian
I use this link http://www.usc.edu/schools/college/crcc ... lim/quran/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for all of my reading and it has three well known English Translations
in an open access format and they also link their web with http://www.altafsir.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which has slightly different format of same translations but bit hard to read or copy/pasteYUSUFALI: In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
PICKTHAL: In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
SHAKIR: In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
for .e.g http://www.altafsir.com/ViewTranslation ... tionBook=7" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And very Slow link..
Any way I prefer Shakir's translation for all my posts and some times i do cross check that with My good friend AhmedBahgat's web site at http://www.free-islam.com/modules.php?n ... forum&f=24" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Ahmed is very sincere in his translation and he is always correcting so one Must consider it as Draft not the final version ., I don't think he is going to make his translation as final version in this life.. He need check upon some verses with Allah for their authenticity
with best regards
