G20 Riots

I have been watching the “action” in Hamburg and have a real problem with people who are using free speech as an excuse to damage property and inflict damage to innocent bystanders. I would appreciate some input from posters as to how to solve the problem of unruly protestors. For what it worth this is how I would solve the problem.
1) I would hold the next G20 or G7 in a location like Dubai. My understanding is that assembling in large numbers is a big no no .
2) Use an island with facilities for meetings. Controlling who lands should not pose a problem.
3) I have a few other ideas but I’ll wait for some input.

Hi, it works both ways round... if you restrict free speech in some way, then people will find less peaceful ways to express themselves.
I am not condoning property damage in the name of "fee speech", but usually when people get to that sort of behaviour it is because they cannot think of any other way they get a voice.

Oh no no no!. :*) these are Trump supporters to whom trump promised jobs, and Cadillac in their driveway. Now they realize he sold them snake oil and obviously not happy about it.

There seems to be some confusion about who these people are - or perhaps the people themselves are confused. I heard a TV announcer describe them as something like "liberals and anti-globalists", yet the left-liberals are all for the EU and open borders - i.e. are pro-globalist. Or do we have an unholy alliance?
As for being Trump supporters - nonsense. Those fire-raising rioters were probably baying for Trump's blood.

What to do, though, I don't know. Another TV announcer said it wouldn't be a G20 meeting without rioters! It sounds as though the criminals were destroying things all over Hamburg, so keeping them away from the event itself wouldn't stop them. Making it somewhere incredibly expensive and difficult to get to might help, but their backers might provide helicopters!

I'll have to watch the video later but it appears it compares the "Antifas" to the Brownshirts. The Brownshirts were of course National Socialist Fascists. The Antifas have just dropped the Nationalist bit: they're Global Socialist Fascists.
