DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?Simple question really.
did man evolve from ape. paxi ![]()
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?Hello paxi christi
I believe in evolution and all significant fossil finds so far support evolution. Do you believe in evolution? sum
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?Hello Paxi, what is your understanding of the process of evolution?

Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?@ sten
I asked the question. and that is that your answer? ![]()
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?
@Paxi, Sorry, I responded to your question with a question. Yes, man evolved from apes. Not only that, technically we ARE apes, of the genus homo and the species sapien. What is your understanding of this process? Do you believe that man's evolution from apes is impossible? Do you have a basic knowledge of evolution or are you the type to ask questions like "then why do apes still exist"? --EDIT-- I'll let Sum handle this one, him's more edumacated than I is. The universe seems neither benign nor hostile, merely indifferent.

Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?Typical Theist Taunt.
He'll soon get bored and move on. I don't think it's worth the effort. ![]() "Brother, you can believe in stones, as long as you don’t throw them at me." - Wafa Sultan
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?Ok here goes....
I first and foremost believe in creation.... now evolution........i can go for the coming from apes theory....sure. in genesis god said he created man after the animals, plants, water and so on you know. paxi ![]()
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?@ pr126
pmsl. with all respect im here to stay. stop your moaning and lets et on with it,there is no malice from me. you dont half talk and act like blackadder. do you seriousley think science and atheists can do this on their own? ![]()
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?Evolution wise we didn't evolve from apes but have a common ancestor somewhere.
But I don't believe in evolution either.
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?Only those who suffer from retardation (btw they themselves are not aware of this mental condition of theirs) do not believe in evolution.
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?
I agree
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?
No homosapiens or modern human beings didnot evolve from apes like Chimps, Gorillas or Orangs. Homo sapiens or modern human walking on two feet , using tools and distinct evolved brain evolved from homoerectus, homohibilis and other upright, walking on two feet animals who used tools , who had knowledge of using fire, and may have soeme rudimentary vocal language. Apes are distict cousins of homosapiens or modern humans, perhaps branched out atleast more than 5 million years ago .
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?@ Idesigner
so the ape came first? so where did homoerectus come from? only asking not being funny. paxi ![]()

This link should answer your question. http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/homs/species.html All the best. Surtout, pas trop de zele
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?@ Methinx
so going of the chart you can see where we came from. could you give me some thing that could show me what humans are going to evolve too? surely scientists have worked out a code or pattern to what we are going to be like in the future. back to the beginning.......Theory of Biogenesis vs. Spontaneous Generation Louis Pasteur is a legend........... http://www.answersingenesis.org/article ... eurs-views http://microbio-quiz.wikispaces.com/1.+ ... crobiology i can go for the chart you gave me in some ways...but i believe in this notion.... paxi ![]()
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?The link you posted wrote:
Spontaneous generation is not the "foundation of the evolutionary view on the origin of life". You are being lied to, my friend. The sites you have linked to present information in a biased and dishonest manner. These people have no clue about evolution theory or abiogenesis. Pasteur simply proved what is obvious to us now - that creatures such as maggots and bacteria do not appear spontaneously. His experiments were not about the origins of life, they were not designed as a counter to Darwin's theory, and there is no law that states that life cannot be formed from complex proteins. In fact, taken to its logical conclusion, pasteur's experiments disprove creationism, since he proved that fully developed organisms did not just appear from nowhere as was previously believed. And that is what creationism states - that all life as we see it today, spontaneously appeared less than 7000 years ago. The universe seems neither benign nor hostile, merely indifferent.
- Carl Sagan
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?
Oh, Ya! Both Adam and Eve, mankind's true ancestors, were spontaneous creations. Proof is in the Bible!
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?
No need to be childish.
Like Sten says.. what Pasteur disproved was the idea that life forms such as mice, maggots, and bacteria can appear fully formed. There is no law of bio-genesis saying that very primitive life cannot form from increasingly complex molecules. Evolution doesn't mean that you have to give up Christianity -- indeed, there are plenty of Christians (including the Pope) who accept evolution -- all it entails is interpreting some parts of Genesis in a different way. . Surtout, pas trop de zele
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?@ Methinxs
i said last week i could go for the ape(homo erectus)theory. here is today's news on the Vatican...... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/religio ... anity.html seems i have never believed in anything different would you say?so my Catholic faith has never been tested/altered. i wasn't being childish. thank you for the reply.... paxi ![]()
Re: DID MAN EVOLVE FROM APE?One thing is for sure, if we knew answer to this question then we would not have so many different religions
