George Floyd, Black Lives Mattter and Antifa

Post by Hombre »

Can anyone make sense in this photo? Does he know the separation of Church & State enshrined in the US Constitution? Apparently not.
Also he never opened this the NT nor read any sentence in it. How far this demagogue will go to get attention. (Maybe someone should have handed him a copy of the Quran :lotpot: in a black leather with label "Holy Book". This idiot wouldn't even notice it - just to get attention.)

Now he says he will deploy the US army to fight US citizens protesting the assassination of a black man by white cops.

Sigh. I worry about you Hombe. The hate for Trump is eating your soul away. And not only yours, It is nauseating to see how every Trump hating newspaper condemned this moment. They make it ugly, and fools like you jump on their bandwagons.

Do you know why he was in front of that church?

And that Episcopal Bishop who called in to CNN to trash President Trump for holding the bible without her permission. She said nothing about the criminals who torched the church though. It seems that woman believes she gets to decide who can, and who cannot, carry a Bible. Speaking about fools and idiots.
Now he says he will deploy the US army to fight US citizens protesting the assassination of a black man by white cops
.

Of course he will, and high time to. Those white antifa criminals and their( black) croonies must be stopped. They plunder, they kill people, and they are starting a race war. But feel free to join them.

Correction. One white cop, and 3 coloured cops

And are you making a saint out of George Floyd? And do you support antifa?

How it started.

It began with a report of a fake $20 bill. ... Believing the $20 bill he used to be counterfeit, a store employee reported it to police.
George Floyd was a regular at Cup Foods. He was a friendly face, a pleasant customer who never caused any trouble, the store owner Mike Abumayyaleh told NBC.

But Mr Abumayyaleh was not at work on the day of the incident. In reporting the suspicious bill, his teenage employee was just following protocol.

In a call to 911, made at 20:01, the employee told the operator he had demanded the cigarettes back but "he [Floyd] doesn't want to do that", according to a transcript released by authorities.

The employee said the man appeared "drunk" and "not in control of himself", the transcript says.

Shortly after the call, at around 20:08, two police officers arrived. Mr Floyd was sitting with two other people in a car parked around the corner.

After approaching the car, one of the officers, Thomas Lane, pulled out his gun and ordered Mr Floyd to show his hands. In an account of the incident, prosecutors do not explain why Mr Lane thought it necessary to draw his gun.

Mr Lane, prosecutors said, "put his hands on Mr Floyd, and pulled him out of the car". Then Mr Floyd "actively resisted being handcuffed".

Once handcuffed, though, Mr Floyd became compliant while Mr Lane explained he was being arrested for "passing counterfeit currency".

It was when officers tried to put Mr Floyd in their squad car that a struggle ensued.

At about 20:14, Mr Floyd "stiffened up, fell to the ground, and told the officers he was claustrophobic", according to the report.

Mr Chauvin arrived at the scene. He and other officers were involved in a further attempt to put Mr Floyd in the police car.

During this attempt, at 20:19, Mr Chauvin pulled Mr Floyd away from the passenger side, causing him to fall to the ground, the report said.

He lay there, face down, still in handcuffs.

That's when witnesses started to film Mr Floyd, who appeared to be in a distressed state. These moments, captured on multiple mobile phones and shared widely on social media, would prove to be Mr Floyd's last.

Mr Floyd was restrained by officers, while Mr Chauvin placed his left knee between his head and neck.

"I can't breathe," Mr Floyd said repeatedly, pleading for his mother and begging "please, please, please".

For eight minutes and 46 seconds, Mr Chauvin kept his knee on Mr Floyd's neck, the prosecutors' report says.

About six minutes into that period, Mr Floyd became non-responsive. In videos of the incident, this was when Mr Floyd fell silent, as bystanders urged the officers to check his pulse.

One of the other officers, JA Kueng, did just that, checking Mr Floyd's right wrist, but "couldn't find one". Yet the other officers did not move.

At 20:27, Mr Chauvin removed his knee from Mr Floyd's neck. Motionless, Mr Floyd was rolled on to a gurney and taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center in an ambulance.

He was pronounced dead about an hour later.
And than the riots started.

It is refreshing to simply see a summary of the sequence of events without the emotion.

The first thing you realise is that looks can be deceiving. He looked a very tough man, strong and healthy. He does not look the sort of man you want to upset. Clearly that was a false assumption. He was quite a vulneratble man. I think though his appearance contributed to a poor assessment of risk by the police, and major over-reaction. I am sure this will have to be investigated and sanctions will follow.

As a result of this he tragically died. I think the same could have happened to a white or Asian guy looking very tough and being agitated. The fact that he happened to be black (rather than just tough looking) is being over-emphasised for political reasons.

All life matters. Not just "black lives". The very term "black life" defines a person exclusively by skin colour. What defines us all is our humanity.

What these riots will achieve in the long run will be that we get another "protected species"... police will be reluctant to arrest a black man in case it causes difficulties. Go for the white kids and OAPs, safer.

In other words, I would challenge the unspoken assumption that the police acted purely out of racist motives. I would need evidence for that before I believe that.

The murderer and the victim, George Floyd, both worked as bouncers at the same NY night club until summer last year. Both have a criminal record. So it is reasonable to hypothize that murderer and victim knew each other and may have been part of the same criminal environment.

Interesting.... so perhaps because the policeman knew him as a bouncer, they thought he would be harder to deal with than he really was?

Perhaps. Do they have a history? I don't know but if so, it would be a game changer.

yes, that would also be important. The more you look, the less it seems the "race" issue media suggest.

All over the world "good " people are protesting the death of George Floyd.

This is the turnout for George Floyd protests in Amsterdam. In the absence of "The exciting racism" in Holland, we import it from the US. Of course there was no social distance

Image

And in Groningen city , the organistation of black lives matter told the protesters that the black people should sit at the front, and white people at the back of the square. :whistling:

I am not sure if that worked out well.

And in France, I am sure they feel sorry for George the American, but they feel even more sorry for Adama Traoré, a 24-year-old black man who died in 2016 in France after being arrested. So let's riot.
France: 20,000 BLM protesters defy social distancing to protest in Paris

Image

Some 20,000 mostly black protesters defied social distancing measures and took to the streets of Paris on Tuesday evening, responding to a call from the family support committee of Adama Traoré, a 24-year-old black man who died in 2016 after being arrested.

Police were forced to deploy tear gas on several occasions to disperse violent crowds which hurled projectiles, smashed shop windows, and started fires. The demonstrations saw two police officers injured and 18 protesters arrested, Le Figaro reports.

Despite the police prefecture announcing on Tuesday morning that the demonstration was not authorized due to coronavirus measures which prohibit public gatherings of more than ten people, the protests went ahead and began anyway at about 7:00pm on the court forecourt in northeast Paris.

Police also cited the fact that the demonstration “had not been the subject of any prior declaration” and that “the tone of the call to protest relayed by social networks raised fears that overflows would occur on a sensitive site.”

Almost immediately police intervened and demonstrators were dispersed in the surrounding streets and on the ring road. As can be seen in the video footage of the protest, barricades made out of urban furniture, electric scooters, motorcycles, and construction materials were set alight.

Anti-police, Black Lives Matter protesters in France have clearly drawn inspiration from their counter parts in America. Earlier this week, Adama sister claimed that, like George Floyd, her brother’s final words could have also been “I can’t breathe.”

French police, however, contend that Adama’s death was the result of preexisting health conditions.

In America, following several nights of riots and looting which appeared to be morphing into armed insurrection, President Donald Trump was forced to deploy the National Guard to restore order to cities across the country. On Monday night, the 82 Airborne Division was moved to the Washington D.C. area to counter anti-police protesters.

In the past week, Black Lives Matter protests have popped up in several European cities. In Amsterdam, politicians were outraged after the city’s leftist mayor allowed several thousand people, all of whom were defying social distancing measures, to gather on Dam Square to protest “police brutality”, as Voice of Europe reported.

In the city of Ghent in Belgium, a group calling itself BLM Belgium also defied social distancing measures during an unlawful demonstration, Voice of Europe reported. Like in the Netherlands, Belgian authorities took no action to break up the demonstration.

Where is the outrage when a white policeman is shot dead in the riots? Why is the MSM not making an issue of this murder and condemning this murder?

Is it only black lives that matter?

Where is the balance in this matter?

Also in Londen where "peaceful " black lives matter demonstrations.

London Black Lives Matter Protest Turns Violent, Police Attacked Outside Prime Minister’s Office

Image

Black Lives Matter protests taking place in the United Kingdom took a violent turn on Wednesday evening, with police officers guarding the Prime Minister’s Office attacked with punches and objects thrown.

Thousands of protesters marched through Westminster, London, on Wednesday afternoon to the city’s initially-peaceful Hyde Park demonstrations in sympathy with protests taking place in the United States over the death of George Floyd in police custody.

Protesters chanted now well-known slogans also seen at a prequel march that took place at the weekend, including “no justice, no peace” and “no racist police”. Chants of “the UK is not innocent” intend to highlight that issues in race relations between the police and public are not limited to the United States.

But the protest later descended into scuffles and fighting with police. Punches were thrown, and protesters attempted to scale the railings of the Prime Minister’s Downing Street official office while, indoors and just yards away, Boris Johnson was giving a daily press conference on the coronavirus pandemic. Images captured by an Agence France Presse journalist show a police officer being punched in the face, while another shows an officer being tackled in a headlock while others rush to assist.

British newspaper The Daily Telegraph cited a freelance journalist who said police removed one protester from the crowd, which triggered a sudden surge of violence. Objects reported to have been thrown at officers include a tub of pasta, fruit peel, streets signs, water bottles, and traffic cones.

Acts of contrition by UK police seem to have done little to calm tensions, however. Protesters’ demands of officers on the streets included repeated orders that individual policemen take a knee as a sign of respect, with some doing so. The National Police Chiefs’ Council, meanwhile, released a statement saying UK police “stand alongside all those across the globe who are appalled and horrified by the way George Floyd lost his life”.

The official policing body also reminded protesters that it remains illegal to gather in groups of more than six in the United Kingdom because of the government’s coronavirus lockdown, the Telegraph report noted.

Wednesday’s protest appears to suffer from the same coronavirus-era issues seen elsewhere in other Black Lives Matter sympathy protests in Europe, notably over large groups of people not observing social distancing rules in contravention of national laws. Breitbart London reported on a similar, but ultimately peaceful, protest in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, which invited nationwide criticism after the city mayor not only failed to control the gathering over coronavirus, but attended the march herself without wearing a mask.

The mayor was accused of acting with hypocrisy as she had acted just weeks beforehand to block the city’s annual commemoration of Second World War dead from going ahead, citing coronavirus concerns.

I guess taking the knee didn't help!

White guilt extreme. Shameful.

This cannot be spontanious. Are these people instructed to behave this way? I believe they are.
Police are kneeling before the mob?
This will not end well.

To my opinion there is only one answer. George Soros.
There are video's on internet where you can see that white people are paying folks to riot.

And many gutmenschen all over the world want to be a good person.

Obama has worked very hard for 8 years to achieve this.
I bet he is happy that his work came to fruition.

Finaly, race riots.

He is celebrating in Martha's Vineyard.

#Black lives matter. Other lives, no so much.
