Will Trump complete his 4 year term?. Not according to same prof. of History who predicated his win. He will be impeached - rather by his own GOP in congress

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the ... ge%2Fstory

Worse yet. We are learnig that, one main candidates to be his chief of Staff is none other then his own son-in-Law. While other children will continue to run his companies AND act as his unofficial advisors. He still trusts no one except his own close family members.

Well. I Can't wait for the greatest show on earth to begin. Simply said, the guy has too many baggages - through his past dealings with questionable characters, who might spill the beans on him, or his refusal to disclose his tax return which could provide congress better understanding of his background then now.

I am not surprised of Donald's mistrust in the present administration in DC.

Some are Muslim Brotherhood operatives, others are compromised, or on the take from Arab money.
Or just plain anti American socialist / communist ideologues.

His first task is to "drain the swamp".

Not everything related to Trump has to do with Muslims. He alienated too many groups and people, therefore there are many people - including among conservatives and republicans who wish him ill.

From what I have been reading from various sources, Trump is analogous to the cheetah who hunts alone, and feels she and her cubs are the only one will eat the entire pray.

He has invested more then $100M of his own money into this campaign, with no money from other GOP traditional sources. Therefore, he feels he bought the desk at the Oval Office with his own money. As savvy businessman, he wants to get handsome return on his investment - the very reason, he has his own kids closer to himself "special advisors" then others.

One can imagine, in morning, Trump's kids participate in Cabinet meetings in the Whitehouse to plan sanctions or upcoming trade deals with Country A or B. Then in Afternoon they meet in Trump Tower to sign deals with those countries discussed in the morning.

As for "drain the swamp". If he keeps up with same behavior of "me first - you next" attitude, himself may be the swamp which will be drained by those GOP in congress who never cared for him anyway.

Trump's Supreme Court.
Donald Trump’s Supreme Court picks will leave his mark on America’s biggest ideological struggles

The future of the US Supreme Court was set to take centre stage at the first meeting between President-elect Donald Trump and the Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in Washington on Thursday, in particular whom he might appoint to fill its one vacant seat.

Jubilant in the wake of his victory on Tuesday, Republicans are now counting on Mr Trump to use the power of the presidency to tilt the court back to the ideological right, beginning with nominating a conservative to fill the seat left empty by Antonin Scalia, who died in February.

For Democrats, by contrast, the defeat of Hillary Clinton means they have lost what would have been a rare opportunity to forge a liberal-leaning majority on the country’s highest court for the first time since the early 1970s and repel conservative attempts to undermine their progressive priorities, notably on issues like abortion, immigration and minority rights.

The ideological balance in the Supreme Court was one principle issue that drove voters to pick either Mr Trump or Ms Clinton on election day with exit polls indicating that for one in five of them it was in fact their most important consideration.
What? Judges have political opinions? Opinions that might cloud their judgments? Heaven forfend! Thank goodness it couldn't happen here. None of our judges given a leg up the slippery ladder of advancement during 13 years of Labour government could possibly be like that, thank the Sainted Tony. Those Americans! Really!

:*) Are you joking Fernando ? I guess you are. The same happens in Holland. We only have D66 judges here, and they all hate Wilders.
Wilders hate trial stalls after alleged judge ‘bias’

Wilders, who is exercising his right not to be present at his own trial, tweeted yesterday: ‘What terrible bias from this judge who can barely disguise her hatred of the PVV.’

Wildres is a god man, whom neo-liberal elements in Holland - those beautiful souls who wish to sacrifice him, just to demonstrate to the world how fair minded they are to Muslims in Holland. If murder of Van Gogh did not teach them a lesson - nothing else will.

Israeli has it own group of uber-lefties named B'tselem (In image of...) who stand in Security Council and tell the world, "please sanction our country" for protecting its citizens.

Now, I can say president with pride.
WOW. This is fantastic news. Honestly I did not expect.

THANK YOU LORD.
Yes indeed, say "President" who run on division, trumpeting his race card. A man who lowered any remaining standard of decorum, and civility. A president who has been found a compulsive lair with Magellanic ego, with emotional intelligence & maturity of 13 year old.

What I find astounding is that, Obamacare was enacted to help low income to those low skill peoples like millions of those white people who voted for him. Allow them access to basic healthcare, with no per-condition to get insurance.

No longer live in fear they will lose everything - their entire life saving, even their homes, and go BK with a single catastrophic illness. Yet, these useful idiots followed Trump like sheep and voted for him - even against their own interest.
(btw. Increases in premium is affecting only 5% of those who have private insurance. Anyone else who gets their insurance through their employers, Medicare and VA see no effect at all.)

You can bet your cowboy boots that he won't fulfill even 5% of what he promised to those white gullible who voted for him.
"I am the only one who can fix it". My foot he can.

Its 100% of those who have private insurance face the increases, it varies from place to place .....but it is also misleading to say anyone else who gets employers insurance ,medicare and VA see no effect at all that is absurd as an employer i seen a huge increase this month in health insurance premiums so did those blue collar white democrats in ohio michigan and pennsylvania, wisconsin , many of them voted for obama twice in 08 and 12 it was obamacare, rising health costs is a good reason why hillary lost those states not solely the reason but a good part of it.
They are not as gullible as you think trump also outperformed romney in 2012 amongst hispanic voters

Obamacare does not protect peeps from losing their savings, home etc.. you have any idea what the deductibles are? its like not having insurance for poor peeps, 3,000 bucks may as well be 30,000 bucks .

As for trump himself he can be very obnoxious, says boneheaded things at the top of his head....i held my nose when i voted for him, but no way would i vote for hillary but we will see what happens, he has always said he will replace obamacare no doubt this includes certain provisions, like the pre existing conditions mandate will be a part of new plan or system.

There is something I am confused about....if you look at the votes cast Clinton appears to have scored some 200000 or so MORE than Trump....
http://www.nytimes.com/elections/results/president
So obviously there is a rather odd way the result is processed, perhaps similar to our "first past the post".... Would people not start complaining that Clinton has lost even though she go more votes?

Electoral College which votes for the US president. Hillary had more popular votes but Donald Trump won higher number of Electoral College delegates. Rules vary from state to state and some states, from county to county. No two states have the same rules. How the delegate are divided depends on the state and/or county rules - very complicated and not easy to understand system. That's the extent of my knowledge.

Hi ram it is true there is many different rules from state to state regarding recounts etc... and 2 states maine and nebraska have split electoral votes for example trump won maine cd2 1 electoral vote because he won the popular vote in maines 2ns congressional district where as hillary recieved 3 elector votes because whe won the first congressional district and 2 of the electors she won because she won the popular vote in the state as a whole.
but the rest of the states have winner take all.... for example when you vote say in california or tennessee the ballot on screen will ask you if you vote for trumps electors or hillarys electors.... various other third party electors etc... that is the same in all states . you are voting for the electors if the plurality or majority of states popular votes choose trumps electors then all 55 electors in california would be republican electors but if hillary wins like she did in california then 55 demecrat electors will be going to wash on dec 19 to vote for her in electoral college vote.

hopefully this makes sense :)

Good.... ;) Anything that’s a disaster for the Muslim Brotherhood is good news for the rest of the world.

Muslim Brotherhood: Trump victory a ‘disaster’

Donald Trump’s victory in the US elections is a “disaster” for the Arab and Muslim world, a Muslim Brotherhood spokesperson said today.

Mamdouh Al-Muneer, a member of the supreme body of the Freedom and Justice Party, wrote on social media that the results of the elections were a catastrophe as a “racist” has ascended to the White House.

“Goliath is coming himself, with his horses and men… what our nation has witnessed in the last period is something and what is to come is something different. God willing it will be for us not against us.”

Like the saying goes. "show me you leader. Show me your associates, and I will tell you exactly who you are.

One of Trump's closes advisors is Steve Bannon. Who is Steve Bannon.

Here what Wikipedia writes about him:

Personal life

Bannon's first marriage was to Cathleen Houff Jordan. They had a daughter, Maureen.[38] Following their divorce, Bannon married former investment banker Mary Louise Piccard in April 1995. Their twin daughters were born three days later.[39] After Piccard and Bannon divorced in 1997, Bannon married Diane Clohesy. That marriage also ended in divorce in 2009.[40]

Bannon was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence, battery and dissuading a witness in early January 1996, after Piccard accused Bannon of domestic abuse. The charges were later dropped when his now ex-wife did not show up to court.[41] Piccard also stated that Bannon had made antisemitic remarks about choice of schools, saying that he did not want to send his children to The Archer School for Girls because Jews raise their children to be "whiny brats". Bannon's spokesperson denied the accusation, noting that he had chosen to send both his children to the Archer School.[41][42][43][44][45] Bannon's association with the alt-right movement along with his aforementioned alleged antisemitic remarks have contributed to accusations of white nationalism from the Southern Poverty Law Center and other advocacy groups, commentators, and Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid.[46][47][48][33][49]

Another Triplet-marital, with "family values".

Trump got elected on populist sentiment of guns, antiabortion, wall, some what protectionist , isolationist platform.

After election all his policies declarations as well his appointment considerations reflect extremist republican out look not in tune with people who elected him.

All that base ball cap wearing, beer drinking, gun trotting, cussing white boys will feel cheated. They were cheated by tea party and now by Trump as none of any populist policies will be implemented. They have to start all over again come 2018 house elections!

What this means:

1. Those big factories of Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio etc. won't open ever!

2. There is not going to be a wall or there won't be mass deportations of illegals, especially Mexicans. Some token deportations!

3. There will be marginal changes in Obama care , name will be dropped but will be redressed.

4. No new coal mines will be opened , Coal has to compete against cheapest and cleanest fuel in history I.e. Natural gas.
No coal miner daughter singing praise of coal mining.
5. US will look to international trades in energy, software and in monetary funds. Sorry base ball caps you don't have money to finance infrastructure!
6. Working base ball caps will pay higher taxes where as big employers will pay lower taxes. Interst rates will go up.

Yes Trump won't welcome Muslim refugees! Muslim immigrants will be scrutinized. This wii be the only positive developments for us FFI supporters. On other hand this was the policy of Republicans.

Well, most of the other stuff is off our topic, really - and clearly forum members are divided anyway. However, it's not just Muslim "refugees" - probably far more important is that there won't be Islamists throughout the administration and whispering in the president's ear. And maybe the police, FBI and CIA will get their training manuals back uncensored.

And the farce goes on...

Now Obama says that Putin PERSONALLY controlled or influenced the election result through "cyber crime" or something...

Maybe he means to tell us how Putin demoniacally sent mind control waves through the internet to force Americans to vote for Trump....

I am amazed he chooses to be remembered not only as the first "black president", but also the first mentally deranged one.

More worryingly, he says he will "take action against Russia"... He has less than a month in office, maybe someone should organise some long foreign trip for him, so that he won't start a war out of spite.

I can't wait until I see the back of him. Eight years. Eight long years of Obama. The "black president" who almost destroyed Amerika and Europe

I do not think he can provoke Putin. Putin knows he only has to wait a short time before he has to deal with Trump. Or so I hope.
