A worrying article on Islamic no-go areas in European cities, where not even the police dare enter.
An area of 1.4 miles from the city center of the Dutch capital The Hague, also known as "the city of peace", has become “orthodox Muslim territory” into which not even the Dutch police dare venture.

The Schilderswijk area is known locally as "the Sharia triangle", or "the mini caliphate", and is being run by an unofficial Sharia police force. The Trouw's newspaper investigation also found that orthodox Muslims had become so dominant that they are dictating what people must wear and how they must behave, like in Iran, Afghanistan, Gaza and Saudi Arabia.

Don't I know all about the schilderswijk in The Hague. I do not live to far from it. It is like you are in a muslim country if you visit this area of The Hague known locally as “the Sharia triangle”. Of course our politicians deny there is an “orthodox Muslim territory” and also it is largely ignored by the city authorities, and even by the police, on the grounds that it had become self-regulating.

A youth who had previously been involved in local gangs said that criminality had dropped off, not because of the police, but because he and his friends were “afraid of the wrath of Allah”.

A veiled Muslim woman, however, defended Islamic practices, and said dressing modestly would “do the locals good”. She pointed out that women in the Dutch ultra-conservative, largely Protestant, Bible Belt also wore long dresses, and that shops there were closed on Sunday – as many in Schilderswijk were on Fridays.

Local police chief Michel de Roos said: “We have no indications there is a form of Sharia police here. That is not to say it does not happen, but we are unaware of it.”

Geert Wilders went there for a visit .And when he had announced that he would visit the Schilderswijk, Since then he received many death threats via Twitter. One of them said, "I’m going to Schilderswijk tomorrow. We are going to kill Wilders.” Another said, "You walk through the neighborhood and you won’t come out of it alive.”

Handful of Dutch Jews Live in Shadow of Muslim Area Dubbed 'Sharia Triangle'

91% of The Hague's Schilderswijk Section Are Muslims

The Hague, Netherlands — On a cold winter night in 2008, Wim Kortenoeven was startled by the crackling of a large fire raging near his home on the edge of this city’s last remaining Jewish enclave.

Rushing from his apartment, Kortenoeven walked 70 yards and crossed the line separating his Jewish-owned housing project from the predominantly Muslim borough containing what Dutch media have taken to calling the “Sharia triangle” — Sharia referring to Islamic law.

On the seam line, he encountered dozens of Dutch Moroccans looking at several parked cars that vandals had set on fire.

Fearing explosions, Kortenoeven shouted to the people looking down from their balconies to go back inside, but his intervention was ignored.

“Onlookers started closing in on me, shoving me, asking if I was police, what I was doing in ‘their neighborhood,’” he said. Kortenoeven scuffled with one man but managed to get away.

Kortenoeven has since moved, but about a dozen Jewish households remain in the little-known Jewish enclave known as the Van Ostade Housing Project. The gated community of 200 units built in the 1880s to house poor Jews is surrounded by the Schilderswijk neighborhood — 91 percent of its residents are foreign-born, half of them Moroccan or Turkish.

Earlier this month, Schilderswijk became national news after a Dutch newspaper reported that part of the neighborhood had become a “Sharia triangle” that police dare not enter. The report prompted a high-profile visit from the stridently anti-Muslim politician Geert Wilders, whose party called this month for a government study of anti-Semitism among Muslim immigrants.

“It is unacceptable that women in skirts should be harassed here,” Wilders said during his visit. “This is Holland. Sharia does not apply here.”

Dutch police have denied that Schilderswijk has become a lawless territory and insist they have security under control. But the Holland Wilders fears is already a reality for some Jews of Van Ostade.

“You get a lot of stares and comments,” said Jewish resident Iris Tzur, who says it’s not comfortable for a blonde woman in a dress to walk the streets of Schilderswijk.

Pinchas Moelker, an Orthodox Jewish resident, says he hides his yarmulke under a hat and always tucks in the knitted fringes of his prayer shawl. He also installed a low-profile mezuzah that blends into the door frame.

Others here have installed mezuzahs inside their doors.

Such concerns aside, the remaining Jews of Van Ostade have no plans to leave, saying they enjoy a sense of togetherness that richer, less immigrant-heavy neighborhoods lack. Moelker hosts weekly Shabbat dinners for his neighbors, “who get so drunk that they zigzag all the way back home.” And Avi Genosar, who served in an elite Israeli army unit before coming to Holland to study, says the area’s high crime levels don’t bother him.

“Here I can get fresh, cheap vegetables, tahini, olive oil and the other Middle Eastern foods I’m used to,” Genosar says.

Things were much different when the Van Ostade Jewish Housing Project was built by Jewish philanthropists more than a century ago.

In 1880, there were about 6,000 Jews in The Hague, many of them living in penury in the city’s disease-infested slums, according to the Jewish Historical Museum in Amsterdam. Van Ostade was one of Western Europe’s largest Jewish housing projects, bringing dozens of Jewish families in from the cold and charging them only a nominal rent.

By 1930, the city’s Jewish population had grown to 10,000 and many more families moved to Van Ostade, but even then Jews comprised only 35 percent of the project’s residents. Many Jewish families passed up the subsidized rent, preferring to live near the synagogue about a half-mile away.

During the Holocaust, virtually all of the city’s Jews were deported and murdered. Today, only about 250 self-identified Jews remain. When waves of Muslim immigrants arrived in the 1970s, the old synagogue became a mosque.

A Star of David in the architecture of the Van Ostade Jewish Housing Project in The Hague. (The Center for Information and Docimentation on Israel, www.cidi.tv)

Still, Van Ostade remained in Jewish hands, even as the old Jewish neighborhood near the synagogue became the local Chinatown. The project is run by an all-Jewish board that rents out subsidized apartments to low-income tenants. Jewish residents are encouraged to spread the word among their Jewish friends, but there are few takers.

“The atmosphere in the Jewish neighborhood itself is very nice,” Kortenoeven says. “Everybody greets you hello. The people are good folks. Many of them are educated people, artists, some students. The problem is some elements in the environment around the neighborhood.”

The impact of Muslim immigration can be felt in other ways in Schilderswijk, as well. Earlier this month, De Telegraaf reported that a local school that had been a Jewish institution before the Holocaust shelved plans to install a commemorative plaque for fear it would upset Muslims. Separately, a sign advertising an exhibition about the school’s Jewish history had to be placed inside lest it upset the locals, a co-organizer of the event told De Telegraaf.

Gerard Brasjen, a spokesman for the school’s board, told JTA he was not aware of the sign issue. The plaque placement, he said, had nothing to do with Muslim sensitivities.

“The plan to place it stalled not so much because of the Jewish-Muslim issue but because it’s perhaps not very wise to put up any sort of plaque in the Schilderswijk,” Brasjen said. “It’s no quiet area, you know.”

Let me tell you a story.

This is the Ibn Ghaldoun school situated in Rotterdam. This school had until 3 years ago one of the worst exam results of all schools in Holland.
But some time ago, a key of the school safe was stolen and it seems the school never thought to alter the lock of the safe...
Anyway....last year a miracle happened. ( sometimes miracles do happen you know :sml: ) All of a sudden this Muslim school was in the top 5 of best schools in Holland. Many Dutch people were flabbergasted, and Muslims cried victory.

However...this year Rotterdam police have arrested an 18-year-old girl and 19-year-old man in connection with the theft of school leaving exam papers
Both pupils are in their final year at the Ibn Ghaldoun school in the port city and are suspected of selling the papers to other pupils. Police say exams for all three secondary school streams – vwo, havo and vmbo – are affected.

A couple of days ago 17,000 Dutch pupils faced a one-day delay in their French exam after stolen copies of the paper, thought to come from the Ibn Ghaldoun school, were placed online. Dutch students were not mighty pleased because this meant they could not go on holiday a day after their exams.

Today they found out that 15 exam papers were stolen from the Ibn Ghaldoun school safe. All the students of the Ibn Ghaldoun school have to take the exam again. It is still unclear what the impact will be on all pupils who sat the exams last month, because it is not known how widely the stolen papers were distributed.

The teachers of the Ibn Ghaldoun school have no idea how this could have happened and have also not noticed the broken seals of the exams envelops .

In the UK, if there is a security breach with exam papers even only once, the school concerned will be removed from the list of approved centres, at least until the issue is fully investigated and steps have been taken that this cannot be repeated. That means ALL the students must from then on take their exams in other schools who will allow them in.

Almost always this means a rapid end to the school. I know two such schools in London, both private, and both no longer operating.

It would be very surprised if those youngsters simply managed to get hold of the papers by getting the keys from somewhere. Normally every school has an "exam officer" who is responsible for the security of the papers, and s/he will have the only key to wherever the papers are kept.

A breach like that would mean a certain and rapid end to his/her teaching career, even if it was not planned but through carelessness.

I am not at all convinced that a bunch of students acted alone in this. It simply is too far fetched. They did not notice the broken seals??? How is that possible? The exam officer is supposed to break the seal at the start of the exam IN FRONT OF the students, or is that different in Holland?

Why is that school still running? When will the education department stop the school from running exams?

The exam scam is even bigger then the authorities first thought. There is a full investigation going on. Not 15 exam papers were stolen but 25. 3 youngsters have been arrested. One boy is the son of the teacher Ayhan Tonca who was ones the manager of the school, but had been put out of his job because he used money for educational purpose for school trips to Mekka . Not only the kids went, but also parents and teachers.

Anyway...he said that he and his son had nothing to do with it .

It seems that 2 years ago teachers at that school had committed fraud too. Students had been advised to use a black ballpoint ( blue have all different colors) and not fill in the multiple choice questions they did not know. They ( teachers ) would do that for them. This was kept under wraps until now.

The exam papers were sold throughout the country, but only in Rotterdam students do not get a diploma until the end of Juli. All teachers in the Netherlands are asked to tell the authorities if a students did really well, and they must give the names of those students to the authorities.
All students who took the exams this year have been told that if they have bought one of the exam papers they have to go to the police, and tell them today. Then they are allowed to take the exams again. If they are found out later, they do not get a diploma this year.

The thief's sold the exam papers for 50 euro a piece .

I am not at all convinced that a bunch of students acted alone in this. It simply is too far fetched.

Neither am I. I think they must have seen it. It is strange that only when the last exam ( French) was openly placed at the internet, all of a sudden they noticed something was wrong with the broken seal. Only then they told the police .

They did not notice the broken seals???

Islamic teacher mode on...."No Honestly. I have not seen it. We Muslims don't lie. It is not Islamic to cheat....Honestly, believe me.I swear by Allah...

How is that possible? The exam officer is supposed to break the seal at the start of the exam IN FRONT OF the students, or is that different in Holland?

It is the same here .

Why is that school still running? When will the education department stop the school from running exams

it seems it is difficult to close this school. Why? Perhaps what ringmaster says....To close it would be "racism".

Pupils are not allowed to speak to the newspaper journalists but I think a picture tells more then a thousand words. This picture was taken two days ago.

Well, shout "racism" or similar such nonsense should not deter an even half honest politician...

It is grossly unfair on all the honest Dutch students who worked really hard for these exams. They will feel cheated, and they are right. If left uncontrolled, it also means that colleges, universities and employers will not take school exam results seriously, so the exam system as a whole get devalued. This in turn will demotivate current students to seriously study, reduce standards whole sale, and also bring discipline problems into schools, as kids do not appreciate being asked to do things they see as pointless.

And all that to avoid some silly ass shouting "racism"???

Is it not "racist" to be more tolerant to cheats if the have a certain background?

So, any education secretary worth having would jump on this issue from a great height, and extremely swiftly. Certainly, all the pupils of that school should until further notice be required to take their exams elsewhere, and no exam papers should be sent to the school, unless they are old ones, for practice only.

Any students who have found to be involved in a fraud like that would not be allowed to sit any further exams in the UK, not even in different subjects or levels. It is only with special supervision that they would be allowed to try again a year later, and even that need special permission.

And any teachers complicit in this fiasco in any way should be removed from the profession at once. They are the equivalent of a doctor selling heroine. To be honest, to me it looks as if this was very widespread in the school. Certainly, therefore the must be an inquiry, and the head must resign, as s/he is ultimately responsible for the conduct of exams in the school.

Muslim youngsters who travel to fight with rebels in Syria against president Assad’s regime are seen as heroes by almost 75% of Dutch Muslims, according to a Motivaction poll for television show Altijd Wat. ‘In general, Dutch Muslims consider the Syria fighters to be doing what the UN is failing to do, which is battling president Assad’s regime,’

By contrast, 70% of the native Dutch population say they are not heroes. Almost 40% say they will be potential terrorists when they return home and 43% think they should be stripped of their Dutch nationality, news agency ANP reports. The Dutch counter terrorism office claims around 100 Dutch youngsters have gone to Syria to fight with the rebels and there are reports three have been killed.

Dutch jihadists in Syria: we miss our mothers' cooking most of all.

The Volkskrant carried a long email interview on Saturday with someone using the name Abu Fidaa, who claims to be a Dutch jihadist fighting with rebel forces in Syria.

While admitting it cannot be 100% certain Fidaa is genuine, the Volkskrant says it was put in touch with him by Azzedine Choukoud, also known as Abou Moussa, who is one of the recruiters parents have complained about.

Choukoud contacted the paper after it claimed Dutch youths were being used as cannon fodder. The interview is illustrated by photographs of the alleged jihadists which were sent by Fidaa.

In the emails, sent between May 26 and June 12, Fidaa writes that he and his fellow fighters think there are 100 to 150 Dutch youths in Syria. ‘We are spread over several locations with brothers from other countries to ease the integration,’ he writes. 'The other brothers come from Belgium, Germany, Canada and Russia.' Two Dutch fighters have died so far.

‘Brothers Mourad and Yasin died as martyrs in a battle for a large army base,’ he writes. The fighters pay for their own trips. ‘The cost of a plane ticket, hotel and taxi come to a couple of hundred euros. And living here is very cheap,’ he writes. ‘We get a good monthly amount and if you are involved in a field battle you normally get part of the spoils.’

Fidaa denies that youths are being recruited against their will. ‘What use are young men who don’t want to fight?’ he asks. ‘If youngsters are being recruited it is by the west thanks to its barbaric wars in Muslim countries. The years of images we have seen in Iraq and Afghanistan have planted a longing for jihad in our hearts.’

Fidaa refuses to say which group the Dutch jihadists are fighting with for ‘security reasons’. While the FSA is secularist and democratic, all the different factions fighting you can see as parts of a single Muslim army, he says. For example, Fidaa says Western criticism of the al-Nusra rebel group is unjust. ‘It is surprisingly heartless how the west worries about the political influence of this group. They [the west] are left cold by the 100,000 Syrian deaths,’ he writes.

In another section, he comments on the need for Muslims to protect themselves. ‘As a Muslim you know you have many enemies who can strike at any moment,’ he says. ‘Look at what happened between the Bosnians and the Serbs who lived in peace for years.’

‘In the Netherlands Wilders has been given a podium in the political arena to make the most racists statements. We advise Muslims to seriously think about emigrating,’ he wrote.

‘We know the west will spend all its money, use every conspiracy theory it can… to combat the Muslims and Mujahideen in Syria who chose Sharia over democracy,’ he wrote. ‘We have seen this in Afghanistan, Yemen, Waziristan, Somalia, Mali. We expect this conflict will come to Syria as well when Bashar has fallen.’

Fidaa writes that it ‘may seem strange’ but he has not seen anyone who has developed problems after killing Bashar’s soldiers or has seen dead bodies.

‘Stranger still, the brothers who have managed to kill one of Bashar’s soldiers have finally been given peace in their hearts. Protecting the people against murderous soldiers… gives satisfaction. Muslims in the west who are looking on helplessly need psychiatric help, not us.

Jihad in Syria has a therapeutic effect.’ Asked about what they missed from home, Fidaa mentioned drop (liquorice) and a simple cheese roll. ‘And a mochachino iced coffee from the petrol station… but most of all we miss our mothers’ cooking.’

Anti-Zionist rabbi says immigrant assaulted him in Amsterdam, blames Israel

Josef Antebi, who identifies as a 'Palestinian Jew,' said he was attacked because the 'Zionist state is doing a lot of bad things to people.'

An anti-Zionist rabbi said he was attacked in Amsterdam because of Israel.

Josef Antebi, an anti-Israel Orthodox Jew who lives in Amsterdam, told JTA he was assaulted on June 23 in the Dutch capital by a young man who “had relatively dark skin and didn’t look very Dutch, or at least didn’t look like his family has been living in Holland for centuries.”

Antebi said he was walking down the street when a car almost hit him. The attacker exited the vehicle and threatened to hit Antebi, who then took a picture of the attacker with his cellular phone. “He shouted negative things about my religion and about my people,” said Antebi, who was born in Israel but says he does not recognize that country’s right to exist and describes himself as a Palestinian Jew.

According to Antebi, he turned to a fishmonger operating a street stall and asked him to call the police as the attacker was approaching, but the fishmonger “just motioned ‘no.’” The attacker caught up with Antebi and kicked him in the stomach, the rabbi said. “You could see it wasn’t the first time he did this, he had obviously trained in martial arts,” added Antebi, who said he collapsed to the ground unable to breath. Antebi, 50, was taken to hospital, examined and released with minor injuries after filing a complaint with police.

“People hear about the atrocities, the way the Zionist state is treating the nations around them, and they are angry about it,” Antebi told JTA. “I’m not surprised he did what he did, it’s human behavior. The one to blame is the Zionist state, which is doing a lot of bad things to people.”

A spokesperson for the Amsterdam police told JTA police are investigating but are not certain the attack was anti-Semitic. “Currently, we are assuming it is an argument about traffic that got out of hand,” she said.

http://www.haaretz.com/jewish-world/jew ... m-1.531943

This "incident " was mentioned in 2 Dutch papers. And they both spoke of an argument about traffic that got out of hand.

Perhaps this rabbi needs a gentle reminder... did anti-Semitism start with the creation of Israel? No? So what makes him think if only there was no Israel it would all go away?

Why not try a bit of common sense? He gets attacked. Whose fault is it? The one who did it, first of all. Then if he gets a chance check out why he did such a thing, he will get a more detailed answer. Most likely he will discover an ideology that somehow de-humanises and demonises him, perhaps saying he is like an ape and a pig. It is that ideology he should blame as well as the man who did it.

Why are there so many Jewish people who almost seem apologetic for breathing?

The extreme left wing in Holland loves this Rabbi. Image He is the one in the middle.

I guess the man was flabbergasted that he, the one who loves the Palestinians more than his own life For You Manfred is being attacked by one of his own "brothers" Is it Karma? I hope this will open his eyes.

But on the other hand, Extreme Jews are in their hearts more Muslims then Jew. Or am I wrong?

It is sad though that no newspaper in Holland told this story, while not too long ago every newspaper in Holland had a long "Oh dear, How sad " story about a 4 months pregnant Muslima who was attacked for wearing a facial veil (They tried to remove her head scarf ) and who had a miscarriage.

Good. He wants to visit the Gaza strip. That will remind him why he went to Holland in the first place. I wonder how long it will be until he realises just how much his "Palestinian" friends are laughing at him. To them he is like a little lamb kept in the back yard. Pet it for now, eat it later.

Immigration under pressure in Holland

No enrichment say the Dutch

A recent poll by de Hond – the Dutch equivalent of Gallup – showed that more than three-quarters of the Dutch (77 percent) believe that Islam is no enrichment to their country. More than two-thirds (68 percent), say that there is enough Islam in the Netherlands.

Interestingly, the poll showed that a majority of voters from all political parties share similar views on Islam.

A majority of Dutchmen – 55 percent – favor a ban on further immigration from Islamic countries. Even more respondents – 63 percent – are opposed to the building to more mosques. Three-fourths – 72 percent – want a constitutional ban on sharia law in the Netherlands.

64 percent say that immigrants from Islamic countries have not been beneficial to the Netherlands. And 75 percent see a relationship between Islam and the recent terror acts in Boston, London and Paris.

The poll was commissioned by Geert Wilder’s PVV (Freedom) Party.

And so the establishment, unless the PVV gains power, will "believe" the exact opposite. And probably do a Tony Blair and increase Muslim immigration to rub the population's noses in it.

Last weekend, a 28-year-old young man from Breda was victim to a shocking group assault. The victim was beaten by two Moroccans so badly that his cheekbone was broken in four places.

The young man was riding his bicycle between Saturday night and Sunday in Breda, when he was insulted and than attacked by two perpetrators. The duo hit him, without mercy, on his face. The two boys, around 18 and 20 years old, and of Moroccan descent, were part of a larger group. Their friends did not intervene, but looked calmly on as the Breda man was molested by their friends. The man needs short-term surgery in order to reconstruct his eye socket.

On the same night, the Breda police started a manhunt for the perpetrators. But, so far, it has yielded to nothing.

This poor victim is one of many. Often Dutch boys and also girls are beaten up by gangs of Moroccan boys. Even groups of Moroccan boys between 12 and 14 years old beat up Dutch elderly people and children.

This wonderful , wonderful multiculturalism in Holland...

It’s fine Moroccan-weather

Joost Niemöller

It is nice and warm outside. Our Moroccan fellow citizens keep up the momentum. Here is the harvest of a few weeks of summer.

It's finally a sultry summer. A real joyful Moroccan’s weather. Just a few lines of the news in recent weeks. Can we say they have a problem? ... mwoah Moroccans!

A 28-year-old young man from Breda broke his cheekbone in four places. He is out cycling and was approached, aggressively, by four people, probably Moroccans. He was severely beaten by two of them in the face, while the others watched. The victim needs surgery in his right eye socket.

A man in Vlissingen had his home invaded by a light-brown skinned man, who threatened him with a knife. The man gives the robber a sum of money, and then he managed to escape. The robber was able to escape by scooter. Perpetrator description: petite stature, about 1.70 m tall.

A 71-year-old woman, in Breda, was attacked near her home. In the fire lane by the gate of her home, a mature man with a North African appearance appeared. He pulled a golden necklace from her neck and cycled quickly away.

A woman of 57 years old, in Amersfoort, was walking over the Eemplein in Amersfoort, when her bag was pulled from her shoulder by three young men. All three have a North African appearance.

An 18-year-old boy, at the North Brabant Oosterhout , was just stabbed, without any reason, in the back by a man with a North African appearance in a black sportsuit.

In Zaandam a 44-year-old women, from Alkmaar, was robbed after she had just used an ATM machine. The man is slightly brown tinted and about 1.70 meters tall. He is dressed in a blue sport jacket.

When a woman in The Hague was crossing the crosswalk, she was robbed by two ‘boys’ with a North African appearance on a scooter. Her ‘Louis Vuitton’ bag was pulled from her shoulder.

A failed robbery had taken place in Bergen op Zoom by two light brown tanned men: one is 1.65 meters high, the other of 1.85 meter. As the doorbell went on. The sixty-years old resident opened the door and had seen the men. When he wanted to close the door again a struggle had been started. A fifty years old woman had mixed in the brawl. The two of them had worked the robbers out who short afterwards had escaped.

In Amsterdam, a light-brown tanned skinned man, about 1.75 metres tall, shot a young Moroccan man dead in broad daylight from a white van.

In The Hague a 35-year-old man was raided in his home by a Hindu man and a man of North African appearance. Both threatened the victim and bound him with tape. They searched the house and left with gold jewellery, phones and a Playstation.

Three boys, with a North African appearance, were committing vandalism in a train between Amsterdam and The Hague. Among other things, they sprayed a fire extinguisher till it was empty. The powder spread throughout the train .

Amsterdam. A 91-year-old woman was taken to hospital after she had fallen down, when a boy, with a North African appearance, pulled the necklace from her daughter- in-law’s neck. The two of them had been walking arm in arm.

The Hague. A woman was about to enter the car park in ‘Van der Neer Street’ when she was caught by a man of North African appearance. He pulled the bag from her shoulder and ran away. (Source)

Tilburg. Two young brothers from Tilburg were attacked without provocation by three men with a North African appearance. They were out cycling when the North Africans jumped out of the bushes. They were knocked down to the ground, kicked and beaten. One of the brothers was punched in the face. When one of the brothers started to call for help, the perpetrators fled.

Two Moroccan boys are demanding an apology from the police. They were stopped because they were walking hooded through the street. Afterwards they were searched. A lawyer has taken pity on these (‘poor’) guys. The lawyer: "The boys continue to insist they have done nothing wrong. It is their belief, and mine, that they were stopped only because they are Moroccans. However you twist it or turn it: that is discrimination and that requires an apology."

That policy is wholly wrong. A shame.

It is good that ethnicity is not recorded in the Netherlands. Just imagine what would happen if the Dutch population started to get the wrong conclusions. This is something you should not want either? Then social tensions will grow in our society.
