Netherlands: 5G towers torched as anti-5G sentiment grows

Two 5G telecom towers in Almere, Netherlands were torched over Easter weekend by unknown arsonists. The act of sabotage is just the latest in a series of attacks on 5G towers in what appears to be some sort of campaign to undermine the deployment of the new technology.

The motives for the attacks are still unclear, although many have surmised that the attacks are clearly linked to a conspiracy theories which claim that the Chinese COVID-19 virus is somehow related to the rollout of 5G technology, SCEPTR reports.

As a result of the cell towers being torched, mobile phone connections were lost and emergency services in some regions of the country became unreachable.

Ferdinand Grapperhaus, the Dutch Minister of Justice and Safety, has called the fires “an attack on the emergency services and with that the society.”

Recently, attacks on 5G towers have become more common in the Netherlands and the UK. 5G radio masts have also been torched in Rotterdam, Tilburg, and Deurne.

Presently, there is no evidence whatsoever which suggests that there’s any connection between 5G towers and people becoming sick from the COVID-19 virus.

Despite the facts, anti-5G sentiment continues to grow as a result of conspiracy theories and disinformation that are being propagated over social media networks.

Arnoud van Doorn is a convert to islam
Dutch-Muslim politician tweets Jewish yellow star to protest coronavirus surveillance plan

On the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day, a Dutch-Muslim politician has tweeted a picture of a Jewish yellow star to protest plans to monitor coronavirus carriers.

Arnoud van Doorn, a member of the City Council of The Hague, posted the picture on Monday, the birthday of Adolf Hitler. Yom Hashoah, Israel’s day of mourning for Holocaust victims also observed by many Jews worldwide, starts in the evening and extends to Tuesday evening.

In 2018, van Doorn tweeted a prayer to Allah to “exterminate the Zionists” and said that fasting on Yom Kippur won’t help Jews atone for Israel’s sins. His Party of Unity says on its website that it strives to “promote the interests of the Islamist community.”

His tweet shows a yellow star of the kind that Nazis made Jews wear during the Holocaust bearing the words “corona app.” Its caption reads “No obligatory corona app,” a reference to a test being carried out by the Dutch government for a smartphone app that would help authorities monitor the whereabouts and interactions of people, including those they know or suspect are carriers, in order to curb the spread of the virus.

Tom de Nooijer, a member of the City Council of Oldebroek, a town situated some 40 miles east of Amsterdam, was among the many who criticized the tweet.

“Remove that star, Arnoud. You have no right to reference it,” wrote de Nooijer, who represents the pro-Israel Christian SGP party.

Netherlands: 18-year-old stabbed to death by Sudanese asylum seeker

A Sudanese asylum seeker was arrested over the weekend for murdering an 18-year-old Dutch boy with a knife in the municipality of Oss, in the southern Netherlands.

The murder took place on Sunday morning at approximately 8 am when a 25-year-old Sudanese man attacked and stabbed the victim, Rik van de Rakt, with a knife while he cycling to work, Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reports.

Moments after the senseless attack had occurred, Rik van de Rakt’s lifeless body was reportedly discovered by a passerby. From there it didn’t take long for police officers to locate the perpetrator and arrest him. The 25-year-old, who holds asylum status and lives in Heesch, is said to have been found by authorities in a ‘confused state’ with the murder weapon still in his pocket.

Apparently, the suspect was no stranger to police as he had caused problems in the area before. Immediately before or after asylum seeker stabbed the 18-year-old Dutch boy, he is said to have attacked a young woman who fortunately managed to escape. It appears as though the Sudanese migrant was simply roaming around the town, looking for random victims.

Police are still on the hunt for anyone that may have witnessed either of the attacks. As of this report, authorities have not ruled out a terrorist motive.

“Today a search took place in his home in Heesch. The investigation is still in progress and we are still looking for witnesses and in particular for the cyclist who cycled over the Hescheweg in Heesch on Sunday. The suspect will be brought before the examining magistrate tomorrow,” a spokesman for the East Brabant police said.

The Sudanese asylum seeker is the second migrant who has been arrested on suspicion of murder this year in the Netherlands. In March, a migrant from Trinidad and Tobago was arrested in Echt for the murder of Frank Schrijen, 56-year-old Dutchman from Boxmeer.

Netherlands: Syrian migrant arrested for vandalizing Jewish restaurant, again

Dutch police earlier this week arrested a Syrian migrant who smashed the windows of an Amsterdam-based Jewish restaurant.

This is hardly the first time that the restaurant, HaCarmel Kosher Restaurant, has fallen victim to an anti-Semitic attack. In fact, the perpetrator, Saleh Ali, in 2017 was convicted of smashing windows of the Jewish restaurant and stealing an Israeli flag, Dutch newspaper Alegemeen Dagblad reports.

Image

After convicting Ali, the court sentenced him to ten weeks in jail, four of which were conditional.

On Thursday, Ali is suspected of having destroyed windows of the restaurant with a steel tube and attempting to set Israeli flag inside on fire. During the time vandalism took place, the restaurant had been closed due to coronavirus lockdown measures. Police were forced to use pepper spray to arrest Ali, who police described as acting aggressively.

While the owner of the restaurant has called Ali’s actions “the stupidest idea I’ve ever witnessed”, Dutch Justice Minister Ferd Grapperhaus referred to the attack as “terrible” and “worthless”. The owner has called for Ali to be punished severely to deter future attacks.

In late April, Voice of Europe reported on a document from the Dutch Ministry of Justice obtained by De Telegraaf which revealed that the number of crimes committed by asylum seekers living in the Netherlands sharply increased in 2019, up nearly 30 percent from the previous year.

In the same week of April, a Sudanese asylum seeker was arrested for murdering an 18-year-old Dutch boy with a knife in the municipality of Oss, in the southern Netherlands, as Voice of Europe reported.

Netherlands: Incidents at asylum centers increased by 30 percent in 2019

By ARTHUR LYONS

The number of incidents at asylum centers in the Netherlands have more than doubled from 8,000 in 2015 to more than 17,000 last year, according to government documents.

In 2019, incidents of hunger strikes, fights, and arson at asylum centers increased by 30 percent compared to the previous year, Dutch daily evening newspaper NRC Handelsblad reports, citing a document from the Ministry of Justice and Security.

The striking uptick in incidents has occurred despite the number of asylum seekers having declined from 47,700 at the height of the migrant crisis in 2015, to 27,400 last year.

The Ministry of Justice and Security attributes the trend to the increased proportion of asylum seekers less likely to be accepted – migrants from safe countries like Morocco, Algeria, and Nigeria. Figures show that migrants from safe countries who have less of a chance of being granted asylum are overrepresented in incidents.

Recently, a survey of 2,800 employees working at Dutch asylum centers revealed that more than half had been subjected to intimidation, name calling, and threats. One out of six had been physically assaulted, while one in twelve had been sexually harassed.

The number of crimes committed by asylum seekers living in the Netherlands also sharply increased in 2019, up nearly 30 percent from the previous year, Voice of Europe reported. Migrants from safe countries like Algeria and Morocco made up sixty percent of the of criminal asylum seekers in 2019.

In April, a 25-year-old Sudanese asylum seeker was arrested for the murdering an 18-year-old Dutch boy with a knife in the southern municipality of Oss. The teenager had been cycling to work when he was attacked by the migrant, Voice of Europe reported

A month earlier, a migrant from Trinidad and Tobago was arrested in Echt murdering a 56-year-old Dutchman from Boxmeer.

Mosque says “get used to it” to citizens who complain about prayer calls

The Netherlands: Mosque says "get used to it" to citizens who complain about prayer calls
The administrative board of a mosque in Amsterdam has a simple answer to those of their neighbors who are complaining about their calls to prayer being too loud: get used to it.

Residents of the area surrounding the Taibah mosque, which is in Amsterdam’s Zuidoost district near the Kraaiennest metro station, have been complaining that its daily calls to prayer are excessively loud. Islamic law requires that Muslims pray five times per day, and the Taibah mosque has been broadcasting all five daily on its exterior loudspeakers to mark the holy month of Ramadan, which began on April 23.

The mosque’s administrative board confirm that they had installed a new speaker system to broadcast the calls prior to Ramadan. They say that the calls are being sounded five times a day during Ramadan as a result of the ongoing Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown, which makes it impossible for worshippers to come to the mosque for prayers.

“The volume with which this happens is so loud that it can be heard throughout the neighborhood and even in the surrounding areas,” complained one local resident, according to a report by the Amsterdam television station AT5.

While local police confirm that they have received many complaints about the loudness of its calls, the mosque’s administrative board has rejected the accusation that they are excessively loud. They claim that the calls’ volume has already been reduced in response to the complaints, but they are refusing to lower it any further. The board also stressed that the prayer calls are permitted under Dutch law and that their neighbors have no legal basis for their objections.

“The neighborhood has to get used to the sound,” the mosque’s board said in a statement.

The Zuidoost police say they will have talks with the mosque’s administration about the issue.

Islamic calls to prayer are regarded as a nuisance in many western European states that have large Muslim populations. Earlier this month, the local chapter of the pan-European anti-immigration identitarian group Generation Identity held a protest against a mosque in Aarhus, Denmark due to its excessively loud prayer calls, as previously reported by Voice of Europe.

A very simple solution. Load him on a military plane. Shove a small paratroop on his back. Fly over Damascus & wallah - drop him on Damascus & be done with this excrement.

Netherlands: Convicted child molester from Libya is now a terror suspect

A Libyan migrant who was convicted of child molestation in the Netherlands last year is now suspected of having worked with terrorist organisations.

Ahmad S., 50, whose last name is protected by Dutch privacy laws, received a four-year sentence for sexually assaulting several children in September. At least three boys are known to have been victimised by him. The youngest of the boys was not even 12 when he was assaulted by the migrant.

New evidence suggests that Ahmad’s penchant for young boys didn’t deter him from becoming a dedicated soldier fighting for Islamic law. Ahmad, who is originally from Libya, now stands accused of having returned to his native country on several occasions between 2011 and 2018 to fight with one or more terrorist organisations, as reported by the Algemeen Dagblad. Court documents specifically name Ansar al-Sharia, or “Supporters of Islamic Law,” as one of the groups Ahmad is alleged to have joined.

Ansar al-Sharia is a group that emerged during the Libyan Civil War between 2011 and 2017. Among other acts of terror, it claimed responsibility for the infamous attack on the US diplomatic mission in Benghazi in September 2012 that killed four Americans, including the US ambassador.

The Dutch Public Prosecutor says that Ahmad kept in touch with fellow jihadis in Libya over the social media service Telegram when he was at his home in Vlaardingen, southern Holland. Their investigation into his contacts has led to a report of approximately 2,700 pages.

The charges brought against Ahmad claim that he was involved in “recruitment and recruitment practices” for the group.

Ahmad is now attempting to examine the report containing the evidence against him with the help of his lawyer, although it is proving to be a challenge as he only has minimal knowledge of Dutch. As a result parts of the file are now being translated into Arabic.

Ahmad’s lawyer requested on Wednesday that he be released in order to see his family — he has a wife and children in Vlaardingen, and one of his sons has leukemia. His lawyer said that Ahmad’s absence would be a “burden” for his family. The judge denied the request, however, and he will remain in detention for the time being.

The judge further indicated that the evidence suggests that Ahmad still has radical ideas stemming from a deep-seated commitment to the jihadi cause.

Radical Islamic terrorism and returning jihadis have become an endemic problem in the Netherlands in recent years. Last year, the Dutch Council of State overturned an earlier decision which had stripped five Dutch citizens who had joined terrorist organisations in Iraq and Syria of their passports, as previously reported by Voice of Europe.

Four shootings in the Netherlands in the past week

There have been four shootings in the Netherlands just in the past week perpetrated by both police and criminals, and three involved fatalities.

In the latest incident, a man, 30, was shot dead in front of his home on Bramentuin in Rotterdam-Zuid just after 7 this morning. Witnesses said he was shot in the head as he appeared to be leaving for work. The victim died at the scene. Two men were witnessed fleeing the scene in a car.

This led the police to give chase to the suspects in ten vehicles, which ended when the suspects’ car crashed on Dordtsestraatweg, over five kilometres away from the scene of the shooting. The two suspects, men aged 21 and 20 respectively, were taken into custody. Police are investigating, according to a report by NLTimes.

Yesterday evening, a man wielding an axe began attacking people apparently at random on Neptunusstraat in The Hague. He hit a passing bicyclist with the axe. Police were called in at around 7 PM and confronted the man. He was eventually shot by officers when he refused to surrender, but survived and was taken to hospital under police escort. Multiple injuries were reported. Residents of the area told reporters that the man lives in the neighbourhood and is in his 20s. Police are investigating the shooting, according to another report.

And on Wednesday, a man was shot by police in the woods near Hilversum, in northern Holland. Witnesses said that the man, who appeared to be in his 30s, had been “acting strangely” in the area for several hours before police were called, including screaming and hanging upside down from a fence. Officers shot the man at around 5 PM, and confirmed his death at 7:30 PM. Police so far have given little information about what happened apart from saying that it was a “chaotic situation,” according to a report.

Lastly, on Saturday, police were called to the scene in Halsteren, in North Brabant where a man who officers claimed was “disturbed” was injuring himself with a knife in a home. Officers broke through the door of the home and fired four shots, killing the man. His death was confirmed at 9:45 AM. Police have not yet offered any details about the incident.

Shootings have been becoming more common in The Netherlands recently. In September Derk Wiersum, a famous lawyer who was representing a witness involved in a Moroccan drug ring trial, was shot dead in front of his home, as previously reported by Voice of Europe.

Netherlands: Police fired upon near Mevlana Mosque

Dutch police were attacked and fired upon by a large crowd of people after responding to a shooting incident on Saturday night. The shooting took place near the Mevlana Mosque in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands. A riot broke out among the bystanders after police arrived on the scene.

Police received multiple reports of a shooting near the Salvation Army building by the Roel Langerakpark just before midnight, according to the official police report. Witnesses said that several shots were fired. Officers rushed to the scene and found two injured men, one of whom is 19 and the other, 20. They were both taken to the hospital, although it is said their wounds were not life-threatening.

While officers were at the scene, two individuals riding a scooter emerged from the Mevlana Mosque, which is nearby, and fired several shots at them. The riders refused to stop when ordered to do so by officers. Police fired their guns several times in response. After they gave pursuit, the scooter crashed and the two tried to escape on foot. Police intercepted them and placed them under arrest. The suspects are 16 and 17.

Bystanders then began to throw bottles and other projectiles at the officers, and they called in reinforcements. A press photographer, 24, was also beaten by the crowd, and police took a suspect into custody for the incident. The photographer was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Officers used their batons in order to disperse the crowd, and searched the people at the scene for weapons. No other injuries were reported, however.

The Netherlands has seen a spike in violence recently. Last week there were four shooting incidents across the country, three of which involved fatalities, as previously reported by Voice of Europe. An illegal migrant was also arrested in Vlaardingen last month after he stabbed a woman in the neck, apparently at random, as reported earlier.

Netherlands: Far-left activists deface statues in Rotterdam

Far-left activists on Friday defaced a pair of statues in the Dutch city of Rotterdam. According to the group, the vandalism was carried out to “criticize” what they consider to be “the glorification of Dutch colonialism”.

“We demand rejection of these unjust ‘heroes’ and we criticize the collective memory of Dutch history, because murderers, exploiters and fascist politicians are not worthy of a monument!” the far-left group wrote on its social media account

The group, which calls itself ‘Heroes of Never’, spray painted graffiti on the statues of Piet Hien and Pim Fortuyn.

According to a report from the NL Times, the words “killer” and “thief” and “Do not pay tribute to racism” were spray painted on the Piet Hein statue and on the Pim Fortuyn statue, respectively.

Piet Hein, an admiral for the Dutch republic during the Eighty Years’ WaR, had also worked for the Dutch East and West India companies. Hein had rejected slavery in the Spanish New World colonies.

Pim Fortyn, on the other hand, was a Dutch politician, academic, and business man who expressed views critical of Islam, multiculturalism, and mass migration. For his views, Fortyn was labelled a far-right populist by his political opponents and the left-wing press, a label that he vehemently rejected. In 2002, Fortuyn was assassinated by a left-wing extremist.

“Fortuyn should not be exalted because Fortuyn has never been a hero,” the group said.

The defacing of the Rotterdam statues comes about a week after far-left activists defaced statues of Sir Winston Churchill and Abraham Lincoln in London. In the US, statues commemorating Confederate generals have also been defaced and ripped from their pedestals.

Netherlands admits to paying terrorists who killed 17-year-old Israeli

And who payed those terrorists ? This lady did. Sigrid Kaag.
She is a D66 minister and she is married Anis al-Qaq.
Nobody ever voted for her . She was just 'appointed, and very generously she hands out money to Palestine.
Shame on her. And shame on D66 who appointed her.

Image
The killers of Rina Shnerb are members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a designated terrorist group in the EU.

The Netherlands paid part of the salaries of two terrorists involved in killing 17-year-old Rina Shnerb last year, Dutch Foreign Minister Stef Blok and Development Minister Sigrid Kaag admitted to parliament on Tuesday.

The killers are members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a designated terrorist group in the EU, and employees of the Palestinian Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC), to which the Dutch representative in Ramallah pledged nearly $20 million in 2013-2021.

Their salaries were paid in part by Dutch funds covering UAWC overhead costs, though they were not directly involved in the land and water management program sponsored by the Netherlands. They also received accreditation, identifying themselves as “employees of a partner organization of the Dutch representation,” in Ramallah a letter from the ministers said.

The Netherlands is suspending its donations to UAWC indefinitely, pending an investigation.
"Because careful action is so important in this regard, I have decided to commission external research into any ties between the PFLP and UAWC," the ministers wrote. “The Cabinet… wants to independently determine whether and how continuation of the contributions is appropriate.”

The ministers’ remarks came in response to a parliamentary question from three right-wing parties.

She also claimed that she was not previously aware of UAWC's ties to terrorist groups, though the Dutch-Israel advocacy organization Center for Information and Documentation on Israel (CIDI) and UK Lawyers for Israel reached out to the government and lawmakers in the Hague in May 2019 to highlight those connections, based on research by the Israeli think tank NGO Monitor.

The Living Straw Man of Anti-Islam: A Rebuttal of Joram van Klaveren on Islam and the Far-Right

Image

In the video introduction to the Emir Stein Center’s ‘Why I Left the Far-Right’, Joram van Klaveren is shown in the Dutch parliament saying the following in Dutch: ‘Research shows that anti-Semitism and homophobic violence are rampant among Moroccans. The legitimacy for this misery: Islam. I call upon the government to abandon its fearful and politically correct attitude towards Islam and to acknowledge the negative influence of this evil ideology. I request the government that Islam be banned from the Netherlands as much as possible. Carry on with the agenda.’

While most of the speech is legitimate, the conclusion he draws in that speech is odd. Banning Islam ‘as much as possible’ would just drive it underground and hinder people from refuting Islam and bring Muslims out of it. Van Klaveren goes on to explain how he wanted to ban all Islamic schools, mosques and Qur’ans.

Van Klaveren’s statement ‘I am no longer a member of the far-right’ is hugely flawed. Beliefs about Islam as a religion, the sole reason he says he joined and left ‘the far-right’, do not actually denote being far-right. Since this is van Klaveren’s only explanation of what it means to be far-right, it seems he has no basis to call the party of Geert Wilders, the Party for Freedom, far-right. He also states that he opposed Islam in every way possible, but in reality, he only ever opposed it superficially, never theologically.

Van Klaveren then discusses his epiphany, which came during the writing of his book, eventually called ‘Apostate’. Van Klaveren says the book sought to provide ‘conclusive, theoretical groundings for all the objections I held’ against Islam. This is slightly confusing; I do not know whether he means theological rather than ‘theoretical’, but if his objections were grounded in reality to begin with, examining Islamic theology would have been essential to prove they were no more than empty claims.

Joram van Klaveren was formerly a Christian, although his misunderstandings of Christianity contribute a great deal to his confusion on these issues. His book, ‘Apostate’, is essentially a colossal straw man. It is also littered with terrible, cliché Islamic apologist thinking. Van Klaveren answers his own past objections to Islam thanks to the help and inspiration he received from Hamza Yusuf, Timothy Winter and Shabir Ally in particular. His book claims there is no Islamic doctrine mandating the killing of apostates, and states that Muhammad is described in Deuteronomy 18:18 (see a debate on this subject between Dr. Michael Brown and Nadir Ahmed). He also asserts that Jesus never claims to be God; that the Qur’an’s violent verses 9:111, 8:12-13 and 2:190 are commonly taken out of context; that Aisha was older than nine when Muhammad consummated his marriage with her; that Joseph was 90 when he married Mary at nine; that Sahih Muslim 2922, in which Muhammad says that ‘the last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him’ is invalid; that he does not believe in the jizyah or dhimmitude; and that Islam is not anti-Semitic. None of these claims are legitimate; not one is a remotely new challenge for Christian theologians. Had Joram van Klaveren actually sought answers on these issues, he would have found them easily.

Van Klaveren claims that his views about Islam were as a result of influence from a conservative, Protestant environment, but if he wants to argue that a core element of being against Islam is the hatred of Muslims, he has either lied here about his influences or he had incredibly odd encounters with conservatives and Protestants. The entire motivation from the Protestant, and general Christian, perspective to learn about and discuss Islam is to reach out to Muslims. He states that other religions, in the Protestant view, were seen as ‘wayward or wrong’, which is obvious; if two ideas are opposing and contradictory, one must be incorrect, hence wrong. In this instance, Islam claims to be a revelation from the same God, upholding the scripture of Jews and Christians, yet it preaches a very different message, especially about unbelievers, making it wayward. To note this, however, is not hateful, and does not incite hatred.

Joram van Klaveren started studying at University on September 11, 2001. He also cites the murder of Theo van Gogh and numerous ‘kidnappings, anti-Semitic attacks and beheadings’, ‘haphazard stabs, truck attacks and suicide attacks’, ‘the proclamation of caliphate by ISIS’ and Dutch jihadis emigrating to Syria as influences for his stance on Islam. It seems that van Klaveren’s lack of knowledge about the Islamic justification for such behavior resulted in his vulnerability to deception from Islamic apologists such as Hamza Yusuf, Timothy Winter (Abdal Hakim Murad) and Shabir Ally.

Violence by Muslims may not be based on Islamic teachings. But it also can be. The justification for the events of 9/11 is clear from the Qur’an. In Surah 2:193, Allah commands; ‘And engage in war with them until there be no sedition and the religion be to Allah. So if they desist, so there will be no transgression except on the unjust’. Surah 9:29 also includes the command from Allah to ‘Engage in war with those who do not believe in Allah nor in the last day.’

The murder of Theo van Gogh is also justified by the command of Allah. In Surah 5:33, we read that ‘Surely the reward of those who war against Allah and his messenger and go about to vandalize on the earth is only that they will be killed or crucified or have their hands and legs cut off on opposite sides or they will be banished from the earth. This is their disgrace in this world, and in the hereafter they will have a great torment.’ Similarly, slaughtering those who transgress against Allah by leaving Islam is also justified in the Qur’an. In Surah 4:89, Allah decrees; ‘They desire that you should become infidels as they are infidels so that you should be alike. So do not take any of them for friends until they emigrate for the sake of Allah. So if they turn away, so seize them and kill them wherever you find them, and do not take from them as friends or helpers.’

ISIS’ killing of unbelievers under their flag of the seal of the Muhammad is also justified on Islamic grounds. In Surah 9:5, we see Allah command: ‘So when the forbidden months are passed, so kill the polytheists wherever you find them, and take them and besiege them and lay wait for them with every kind of ambush; so if they repent and perform the prayer and bring the legal alms, so leave their way free.’ Verses such as 47:4, ‘So when you meet those who became infidels, so strike the necks until you have made a great slaughter among them’ and 8:12-13, ‘I will cast a terror into the hearts of those who became infidels. So strike above their necks, and strike off every finger from them’, also legitimise the actions of ISIS and similar groups. To see the justification and motivation set out for ISIS’ actions today, among similar groups, watch the in depth, hard-hitting documentary film ‘Art Of Imposture’ on my website, narrated by Usama Dakdok and created by ‘NTAuthority’.

Joram van Klaveren claims a ‘more nuanced view of Islam’ slowly developed in his mind, but he commits a serious fallacy of equivocation in assuming that the direct, perfect, unchangeable, eternal, perfectly-preserved word of Allah can in any way be changed. He then refers to Professor Abdal Hakim Murad, Timothy Winter, of Cambridge University as his first influence to help settle his objections, which vanished one by one. This is probably an instance of inflated ego; if van Klaveren’s objections to Islam did not have any basis in Islamic theology, then they were baseless and easy to overcome. Murad, rather than refuting genuine theological objections, probably answered van Klaveren’s questions with common Islamic apologetic responses, which van Klaveren would never have previously encountered. His suggestion here amounts to the straw man that anti-Islam thinking is based on only false accusations rather than on actual Islamic theology and that all objections disappear when we look at the Islamic sources; this is plainly incorrect.

If he was really anti-Islam going into writing the book, why didn’t he seek the counsel of skilled and knowledgeable opponents of Islam? He cites Robert Spencer multiple times in the book, yet seems to ignore all of his theological arguments. After concluding his research, he says that ‘Islam was no longer a religion that promoted violence, hatred, anti-Semitism or categorised non-Muslims and women as inferior Muslims or stridently opposed democracy’. Yet Allah commands violence in over seventy verses of the Qur’an, and hates unbelievers, especially Jews and Christians, who in Surah 98:6 are described as ‘the worst of creatures’. The testimony of women is worth half of a man and women are men’s property when married, refuting his claim that women in Islam are not seen as inferior.

Van Klaveren claims he received ‘surprisingly satisfying answers to my existing Christian questions about specific dogmas such as the Trinity, the sacrifice of Christ and original sin’. To go to Islam to get questions about the Trinity answered is ironic, not least because Allah himself describes the Trinity incorrectly in Surah 5:116. Allah asks the Islamic Jesus; ‘O ‘Isā [Jesus], son of Mary, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as two gods, other than Allah’?’

The person of Muhammad became critical for Joram van Klaveren’s ‘personal search to find God’. He asks whether Muhammad was really a messenger and prophet or a deceiver, and comes to the conclusion that he was more than a special man, with ‘almost supernatural patience’. I would like to see the Islamic sources that show Muhammad as patient; he was, on the contrary, quick to act, especially against perceived slights. In Ibn Ishaq, p.311, Muhammad sees Um-Habib crawling as a baby and remarks; ‘If she grows up and I am still alive, I will marry her’. His patience evidently did not prevent him from proposing marriage, as she is on his list of proposals.

He also attributes ‘care, love, guidance and above all dedication’ to Muhammad. We ask Joram van Klaveren to answer our impossible challenge: show a single verse in the Qur’an that preaches love to an unbeliever.

We also dispute that dedication claim, as Muhammad seemed to work Allah around his own schedule. In Surah 33:53, Allah commands through Muhammad: ‘O you who have believed, do not enter the houses of the prophet, except when it is permitted to you, for a meal, but not waiting while it is being prepared. But if you were invited, so enter, so when you have eaten, so depart. And do not engage in familiar conversation, surely this would harm the prophet. So he would be shy of you, and Allah is not shy of the truth. And when you would ask for anything from them, so ask them from behind a veil. This will be purer for your hearts and for their hearts. And you must not harm the messenger of Allah, nor have sex with (marry) his wives after him, forever. Surely this is a great offense with Allah.’ Rather than dedicating himself to complying with the will of Allah, it appears as if he is compelling Allah to dedicate himself to the will of Muhammad.

Joram van Klaveren says in conclusion that the far-right, which he has incorrectly defined, ‘presents a reality which strips away all nuance’. This is disingenuous in light of his ignoring of numerous key passages of the Qur’an and Hadith. He proclaims that the ‘far-right’ ‘answers real problems with lies’, but does not actually show any of these lies in the video. He also fails to refute the strongest challenges to Islam as violent or justifying violence in the video or his book, ‘Apostate’, which means his assertion that ‘Islam is not the enemy’ remains unfounded.

Summertime in Holland. Some " Youths " are short tempered.

Riots in The Hague. More than 150 "youths" ("Youths" = Muslim youths) opened fire hydrants, and in the evening they have been throwing bricks at police and parked vehicles. No reason given.

Detail: the fire hydrant thing was because of the news outlets just having asked the Dutch people to be sparse with water, because it was running out of drinkwater because of the heat wave.

Last weekend a dutch guy was shot dead by "a youth", because he had the nerve to say something about them trying to steal a watch.

A day later drillrap gangs attacked eachother at the beach in Schevingen, one person died by stabbing (19 years).

Yesterday a 16 years old girl died by stabbing by a girlfriend because of a disagreement

The Guardian does not mention that months ago, this brainless Famke Louise was payed as an influencer to warn young people that Covid is a dangerous virus, and that they should keep the rules like social distance and such.

That was all this stupd girl had to do, and she got thousands of euro's for it.
Dutch celebrities backtrack after Covid restraints rebellion

Rapper Famke Louise among those regretful after backlash from politicians and others

They are young, famous and apparently could no longer abide by the coronavirus restrictions. But a group of Dutch celebrities who sparked a national debate after breaking cover on social media with the hashtag #ikdoenietmeermee, (I no longer participate), have begun frantically backtracking after becoming the target of government and public opprobrium.

The central figure, rapper and model Famke Louise, 21, had told her 1 million Instagram followers she was no longer willing to go along with the growing number of restrictions designed to slow the spread of the virus. “Only together can we regain control of the government,” she said. “I no longer participate. Free the people.”

Louise, who earlier in the pandemic had taken part in a government advert promoting adherence to coronavirus rules, had been joined in her protest by the hip-hop star Bizzey, 35, and the singers Tim Douwsma, 32, and Thomas Berge, 30, among others.

“We are no longer keeping our mouths shut,” the celebrities said in their coordinated videos, a reference to comments by the prime minister, Mark Rutte’s, that cheering football fans “just had to shut up” to avoid spreading the virus.

“Our elderly are being forgotten, our economy is on the verge of collapse, human behaviour is being criminalised,” the celebrities said.

But it did not take long for doubts to emerge among the group, as politicians and fellow TV personalities lined up to accuse them of putting lives at risk. Louise also appeared to have lost a contract to perform at a major music event before she made her U-turn.

In an interview on Dutch television and in a subsequent Instagram post, the singer admitted that she regretted ever getting involved.

“I realise the seriousness of making unsubstantiated statements,” she said. “I would like to apologise to all who have felt hurt or confused and promise to do my best.”

Her fellow protesters also quietly deleted their Instagram videos.

The row comes amid a backdrop of criticism of the Dutch government’s handling of the crisis. The charge against the Dutch prime minister, Mark Rutte, had been a lack of “honesty and transparency” about the effectiveness of face masks and the 1.5-metre social distancing rule.

In recent weeks there has been a worrying resurgence of the disease in the Netherlands, leading to regional clampdowns on social activities in an attempt to slow the spread. For the first time since the start of the crisis, earlier this week the Netherlands recorded more than 2,000 new infections in a single day.

But the #ikdoenietmeermee campaign apparently failed to recognise the wider public support for measures to protect the most vulnerable. The group faced a barrage of attacks from all angles.

One of Louise’s TV appearances was widely mocked on social media with people sharing memes of doctors standing over patients with the words, “I’m out”.

Health minister, Hugo de Jonge, had responded on Twitter with his own hashtag #ikdoewelmee, (I do participate). “In order for healthcare to last, we have to participate – all of us,” he said.

Klaas Dijkhoff, the chairman of the parliamentary group of the ruling centre-right VVD party, tweeted that “the virus is not a game that you can stop for a while”. The Labour party leader, Lodewijk Asscher, called the celebrities’ campaign “completely wrong”.

The celebrities were encouraged to make their videos by a group called “Virus Truth” that promotes the theory that the risks posed by the virus have been exaggerated.

The rapper Bizzey posted on Twitter on Thursday that he would have “nothing more to do” with Willem Engel, the dance teacher behind the “Virus Truth” conspiracy movement.

Daughter Of Dutch Muslim Brotherhood Leader Runs For Green Party In Dutch Parliamentary Elections

The Global Influence Operations Report (GIOR) has discovered that a candidate for the March 2021 Dutch parliamentary elections is likely the daughter of one of the most important leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Netherlands. Dutch blogger and former journalist Carel Brendel recently reported that Kauthar Bouchallikht, the Vice-Chairman of the Federation of Muslim Youth and Student Organizations (FEMYSO), was awarded a high place in the upcoming parliamentary elections on behalf of the GroenLinks, a left-wing political party in the Netherlands associated with the European Green Party. According to his blog post:
  • November 13, 2020 GroenLinks has nominated Kauthar Bouchallikht for place 9 in the upcoming parliamentary elections. The GroenLinks biography praises her talent as organizer of a national student strike, her role as campaigner for the Climate March, and as coordinator of the Climate Strike. Bouchallikht also works as a publicist (OneWorld, NieuwWij, Wij Blijven Hier! And De Correspondent). She is chair of the Groene Muslims foundation, which promotes the environmental awareness of Muslim consumers and encourages entrepreneurs to consume sustainably and corporate social responsibility.
(Translated from Dutch with Google Translate)
As Brendel notes, Bouchallikht’s position with FEMYSO is omitted from her candidate biography. FEMYSO is the youth/student arm of the Council of European Muslims, formerly known as the Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe (FIOE), known to represent the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe. One of the important leaders of FEMYSO over the years has been German Muslim Brotherhood leader Ibrahim El-Zayat, and in recent times, its leadership has been drawn from the family of important Global Muslim Brotherhood leaders. Almost all of the FEMYSO member organizations are also tied to the Muslim Brotherhood in Europe. Over the years, FEMYSO has developed relationships with the Council of Europe, the European Commission, and many other significant organizations at the European and international level.

The GIOR has discovered that in addition to her leadership position in FEMYSO, Kauthar Bouchallikht is likely the daughter of Mostapha Bouchallikht, one of the most important leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood in the Netherlands. The Dutch trade register indicates that her Amsterdam address is the same address used to register a Dutch foundation where Mostapha Bouchallikht serves as Chairman [See NOTE below]. According to a report to the Dutch government by a former Dutch intelligence analyst:
  • Unlike in neighboring countries such as Germany, France and the United Kingdom, the Muslim Brotherhood does not have a long history in the Netherlands. It was not until 1996 that a number of men came together and jointly founded the LIGA OF THE ISLAMIC COMMUNITY (LIGN). Founders include Ibrahim AKKARI, Kamis GACHA and Mostapha BOUCHALLIKHT who would be the director of ISLAMIC RELIEF NETHERLANDS for many years. The LIGN was to serve as an umbrella organization for the Muslim Brotherhood ideology in the Netherlands.

(Translated from Dutch with Google Translate)

It should also be noted that the now-defunct LIGN is, in turn, a founding member of the FIOE, FEMYSO’s parent organization. Based on their respective ages, the most likely conclusion is that Kauthar Bouchallikht is the daughter of Mostapha Bouchallikht, a relationship confirmed by other sources in the Netherlands. She, therefore, joins a long list of other children of Global Muslim Brotherhood leaders who became officers of FEMYSO, including:

Intissar Kherigi (daughter of Tunisian Muslim Brotherhood leader Rachid Ghanouchi)

Youssef Himmat (believed to be the son of German Muslim Brotherhood leader Ghaleb Ali Himmat)

Hajar Al Kaddo (daughter of Irish Muslim Brotherhood leader Nooh Al Kaddo)

Fatima Hawala (daughter of Irish Muslim Brotherhood leader Hussein Hawala)

Whether out of ignorance or by design, GroenLinks has issued a statement denying Kauthar Bouchallikht’s links to the Muslim Brotherhood by denying that FEMYSO is the youth organization of the Brotherhood and claiming that the association comes from “right-wing bloggers and twitterers”:

In recent days, GroenLinks candidate MP Kauthar Bouchallikht has been associated with the Muslim Brotherhood by right-wing bloggers and twitterers because, in addition to her other work as a climate activist, she is also vice-chair of the Federation of European Muslim Youth and Student Organizations until December 1 (FEMYSO). Her board position at FEMYSO was known to the candidate committee of GroenLinks and is also simply stated on her CV and website. This is not the youth organization of the Muslim Brotherhood as claimed, but an umbrella organization of all kinds of different national student / youth Muslim organizations in Europe, which receives a subsidy from the EU and is a discussion partner of the European Commission.

For the record, neither GIOR nor the Global Muslim Brotherhood Daily Watch, the GIOR predecessor publication, is “rightwing.” The GIOR Senior Editor was described as follows by a former BBC reporter, John Ware:
Just as the US Justice Department and FBI take Merley’s work seriously, we should too. He is no ideologue and is as troubled by right-wing groups demonising ordinary Muslims today as he is by the Brotherhood itself

This Green nominee is a hijabi. The chances that a woman who chooses to dress in this fashion is going to be fully signed up to the Green progressive agenda are not very high to say the least. Green Parties across Europe have truly lost the plot.
