I'll spare you the details of a girl being attacked under the Eiffel tower, but what about these aspects of the story:
All the men deny rape, saying they were involved in a “consensual adult relationship” with the woman.
None of them had any official papers and all claimed they were 17 year olds from Tunisia and were seeking asylum.

However, early checks suggest they are likely to be a lot older and possibly from Algeria.
How could they be in an "adult relationship" if they're claiming to be minors? I've heard of dual nationality, but dual ages? ... ffel-Tower

GhostHack - so if one where to argue:According to 49:13 of the quran, Allah created difference races and tribes so that people would be able to recognize each other. 33:59 says that women should be dressed in such a way that they are recognized. Therefore, Allah created different types of hair straight, curly, black, brown, blonde, etc. so that people would be able to recognize each other. Therefore covering the hair is against islam making the Hijab against islam as it makes it more difficult to recognize each other. How would this interpretation be wrong?

What's the French position on tax-relief for religious bodies?
Feïza Ben Mohamed, spokesman and secretary general of the Federation of Muslims in the South [of France], agreed, writing: “Of course. There were.” Caillet went on to disclose that Muslim Brotherhood-linked mosques used their Friday sermons to tell attendees they must vote for Juppé in the primaries.
In the USA, this would get them stripped of tax advantages - at least until Trump takes over. In the UK, mayor Lutfur Rahman got deposed over something similar. Have French mosques any tax advantage to lose over wading openly into politics, or did laicite abolish it ages ago? ... uppe-vote/

chastity belts 2017?
A German entrepreneur has figured out how to solve the rape crisis and make money at the same time.

German women may now purchase rape-deterrent lingerie that keeps out intrusive culture-enrichers and sets off a loud alarm when any hot-blooded “southerner” tries to get past milady’s sartorial defenses.

The device even comes with a padlock. But this is the 21st century, and German women have been liberated, so the Modern Multicultural Fräulein controls the key to her own chastity belt. No husband required!

Money: the root of all evil most migration?
Migrants at WAR: Tensions in Paris as children attacked with knives for being 'too rich'

GANGS of North African youths have terrified Chinese migrants amid complaints they have become 'too rich'.

The streets of Paris have erupted into inter-migrant strife as North African youths have targeted 'rich' Chinese migrants amid growing tensions.

Police in France recorded more than 200 attacks on Chinese immigrants last year, mostly from hostile migrant gangs.

This comes amid a growing perception that recent migrants from North Africa have become "too demanding" and consider themselves "victims" who deserve pity.

While the crime rate grows, local migrants from North Africa have been unafraid to voice their prejudices.

One told the programme: "That’s the way it is. I don’t like the Chinese."

Another added: "The Chinese have become too rich in France. That’s not fair. They have nice clothes and big cars."

Despite this visible hostility, police have largely refused to intervene while locals have complained that security services rarely investigate many of the crimes. ... ants-Paris

Terrorist plot against Paris gay nightclubs thwarted
French authorities have thwarted a terrorist plot against gay nightclubs in Paris.
Interior Minister Gérard Collomb on Tuesday said during a hearing at the French National Assembly that authorities uncovered the plot on Aug. 22. BFM TV, a French television station, reported Collomb told lawmakers the plot targeted “Parisian nightclubs and gay establishments in particular.”
Collomb did not name the specific nightclubs that had been targeted. He told lawmakers that authorities have thwarted 12 terrorist plots in France since the beginning of the year.
“This is what Daesh wants: To divide the national community and ensure that in our country there are clashes among the French people,” said Collomb, referring to the so-called Islamic State as BFM TV reported. “This is a trap that we must not fall for.”
France has been under a state of emergency since a series of terrorist attacks at the Bataclan concert hall and other locations throughout Paris on Nov. 13, 2015, left more than 100 people dead.

Knifeman shouting 'Allah' attacks a soldier on patrol in Paris.

A knife wielding man has attacked a French soldier outside a Metro station in Paris today while praising Allah.

The attacker approached the soldier from behind and then lunged at him with the blade at Chatelet metro station at 6.30am this morning.

The victim managed to wrestle him to the ground and he was arrested by armed police as he shouted ISIS slogans.

The unidentified man is said to have rushed at a patrol of soldiers wearing combat uniforms and brandishing assault rifles.

'He was restrained, and nobody was injured,' said a source investigating the case on Friday morning.

The man was taken to the main Chateletpolice station, and now faces a range of terrorist charges.

I am sure the incident had nothing to do with Islam.

The police are looking for a motive.
Probably a lone wolf with mental problems.

French High Court Orders Removal of Cross Above Statue of Pope John Paul II

The French administrative court has ordered the removal of a cross from a monument to Saint John Paul II in a public square in the northwest of France, saying it violates the secular nature of the state.
Italian media noted the irony of the ruling, remarking that the cross-removal is not taking place “in Raqqa, the capital of the Islamic State in Syria, but in Brittany, in the heart of Western Europe.”

The Conseil d’Etat, France’s highest administrative court, ruled last week that the statue of the Polish Pope in Ploërmel, Brittany, could remain but the large cross above the monument must be eliminated.

“Since the cross is a religious sign or emblem within the meaning of Article 28 of the Law of 9 December 1905 and its installation by the municipality does not fall into any of the exceptions provided by this article, its presence in a public location is contrary to this law,” argued the French court.

The law of 1905, which separates Church and State, forbids “raising or affixing any symbol or religious emblem on public monuments or in any public place,” with the exception of museums, cemeteries and places of worship.

The 25-foot high monument was donated to mayor Paul Anselin by Russian artist Zurab Tsereteli in 2006 and erected in a town square. The sculpture depicts Pope John Paul standing in prayer with his hands clasped, with a simple arch above him, surmounted by a cross.

In 2015, the Rennes tribunal had already ordered the removal of the entire statue but upon appeal, the high court allowed the statue to remain, provided the offending cross disappears.

The city of Ploërmel now has six months to eliminate the cross, and must pay €3000 to the National Federation of Free Thought (Fédération nationale de la libre-pensée), which has been leading the legal battle to have the statue removed since 2015.

Over the weekend social networks in France lit up with the viral hashtag #MontreTaCroix (“Show your cross”), with which many Internet users have shared images of crosses taken everywhere around the country. Many have used the campaign to recall France’s Christian roots, calling the symbol inseparable from the history of France.

Gilles Pennelle, the president of the National Front party in Brittany’s Regional Council, pointed out the paradox that “the French court allows burkinis on the beaches but bans a cross over the statue of John Paul II in Ploërmel.”

For his part, the current mayor of Ploërmel, Patrick Le Diffon, did not rule out bringing the case before the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).

“The statue is part of the landscape of Ploërmel for twelve years, and it does not disturb the inhabitants,” he said. “On the contrary, it is an undeniable tourist asset for the municipality. The mayor added that “this monument is a work of art and it requires the authorization from the artist to modify it.”

The Polish Prime Minister, Beata Szydło also weighed in on the argument, complaining of “censorship” and saying that if the cross must come down the statue should be transferred to Poland where it will be appreciated.

“The Polish government will try to save the monument of our compatriot from censorship, and we will propose to transfer it to Poland, if French authorities and the local community agree,” she said, adding that Pope John Paul “is a symbol of united Christian Europe.”

Poland may have some competition, however. A Hungarian elementary school has also stepped forward to request the cross if the French remove it.

France is in panic and close to an Islamic explosion says journalist

In an opinion piece, Italian journalist Giulio Meotti says France’s discussion about Islam and Islamisation shows the country’s panic about the subject.

He reacts to the advice French professor Christian de Moliner gave to split up France in two territories: A part with French law for non-Muslims, and a part with Shariah law for Muslims who choose for it.

Meotti says the situation looks like the moment when France was losing the war in Algeria and suggested to split up the country into a part for whites and a part for Muslim Algerians. He adds that the “War over France” is hardly at its beginnings:

“Many murderous Islamist attacks have taken place and large territories are already outside the control of the French secular Republic. Even if the conflict is still in its infancy, the notion of ‘partition’ or secession is advancing in public opinion”, he says.

Professor Molinor’s idea to split up the country tells you that Paris is in panic. While president Emmanuel Macron praised Islam in Abu Dhabi, Muslim extremists control French no-go zones, with Jews leaving their historic areas, and magazine “Charlie Hebdo” suffering a new wave of death threats. With ISIS fighters returning to France after their defeat in Syria, France is ready for a future Islamist explosion, Meotti concludes.

Muslims in France demand 2500 more mosques to stop street prayers.

The relentless appeasement towards Muslim refugees is putting a massive strain on the relationship between the European people and their governments. Europeans have been promised that the culture and lifestyle that the migrants bring with them to Europe is one that Europe needs. Now Muslims in France are demanding at least 2,500 additional Mosques to be built in order to stop the street prayers.

A Muslim activist went on the air to proclaim that the Muslims were the victims by having to pray in the street with the sewage. Instead of acknowledging that their host nation is one of tolerance and secularism, they choose to make their religious services public regardless of who it offends. It only matters if Muslims are offended in Europe as governments fail to protect the civil rights of citizens and pander to the invading horde.

The cancellation was because the organisers were expected to pay for the cost of going about their business safely. I.e. Macron has abdicated responsibility for keeping his country safe. Time he abdicated himself in favour of Le Pen.
