SAM, who appears to have a sulk currently, would most like say that Muslim girls attending a Catholic School would often be asked not to wear a hijab on school property.

Would you say this is equivalent?

In particular, is the school a Muslim school, funded by Muslim organisations, or is it an ordinary school funded by the state.

Surely the school misunderstands. Isn't the hijab supposed to distinguish Muslim females from infidel femails and so... er... afford them protection?
