Exodus 31:15, those who work on sabbath should die

I think this is an interesting verse from the bible that anyone can use to point to the bible's draconian laws.

I frankly, had no idea this verse was even in there. But I have to admit, there's really no way of getting around this.

It was an atheist that actually brought this to my attention, but it really made me wonder about how different it can be from the draconian quran?

Yes, that could be plausible. However, this rule is part of the 10 commandments. And those rules are applicable to both christians and jews.

And plus, the torah (1st five books of the bible) is considered to be verbum dei like the entire quran.

Obviously, no christian or jew follows this practice, but a clever muslim can just as easily use this as a convenient tu quoque.
