What would Moses do about Mohammed?
What would Moses do about Mohammed?
This one is for you SAM...
You like using your imagination, at least some of the time, so imagine this:
Imagine Mohammed and Moses met. I know they could not have met, but we can imagine they had met, can't we? Moses is already old and his task, as he sees it, almost done. Mohammed tells him about Allah and Qur'an, about the angel Gabriel and of course about himself.
Would Moses recognise his own beliefs in what Mohammed tells him?
Would Moses accept Mohammed as prophet?
How would such a meeting pan out?
Use what we know from sources about both men to construct the most likely scenario.

There is no such a thing of your imagination, reverie to find Jesus. Moses, Jesus, Abraham and other Prophets already met Muhammad, during the Miraj.manfred wrote:This one is for you SAM...

After death, no one is young and old.Moses is already old and his task, as he sees it, almost done.
All the Prophets and Messenger since Adam already knew about Muhammad before his arrival. All source of information came from God himself.Mohammed tells him about Allah and Qur'an, about the angel Gabriel and of course about himself.

Moses did not know about Jesus, and Jesus also never met Moses, Abraham, Adam and other prophets.

SAM, SAM, SAM...
I asked you to use YOUR imagination, but instead you simply tell me about Mohammed's imagination?
I know about the miraj, and this is not at all about that.
I asked you about a SPECIFIC scenario...
The LIVING Moses meets the LIVING Mohammed (how, does not matter). They talk, and Mohammed tells him about being a messenger of Allah and the Qur'an. What do you think, using sources like the Qur'an, hadith and the Torah, Moses would say or do?
But let's leave that bit until later, start with the scenario question.

So it would seem... but nonetheless the Qur'an has Moses talk about the gospel, and it tells us Jesus is Moses' nephew...Moses did not know about Jesus,

Not really hard, SAM, what would Moses have made of Mohammed if they had met in life? (forget about Mohammed's fairy tale, read what the sources say instead)
You know the answer and that is why you will not discuss it.

Re: What would Moses do about Mohammed?
So let me help him by pointing some things out:
Mosaic tradition speaks of false prophets as those who a) pass on there own or other words as words of God and b) speak in the name of OTHER gods.
Mohammed himself has admitted that at least once he spoke words that were not of "Allah". Also, the Qur'an, which Mohammed claims are the words of God, also contain passages for pagan (i.e. Greco-Roman) folklore, and other known HUMAN sources.
Mohammed falsely claims that his "Allah" is the same god as the one Moses believed in, and the story of Moses in the Qur'an is twisted, inaccurate and incomplete. As Moses had been given the name of God, he certainly knew it was not "Allah".
So given all this, Moses could only really reach ONE conclusion about Mohammed. If they had ever met, Moses would have Mohammed executed.

The FINAL conclusion to Moses.. he's too old to execute Muhammad, Muhammad just have blustered, Moses fell down and had diarrhea.manfred wrote:

Thank you though for explaining Mohammed's secret of success: "blustering"... threat and violence, those were his arguments.
"I have been made victorious with terror." He said.
Also thank you for admitting that Moses' religion and Islam are quite incompatible. According to you, Moses is only a "prophet" if he worships Mohammed, like you do.

What would Moses do about Mohammed?
Ans: Hit Muhammad on the head with the 2 stone slabs containing the 10 commandments?
Let me explain: Muhammad supposedly met Moses on his way to see Allah. Then Allah ordered 50 prayers a day. Moses advised Muhammad to ask Allah to lower the amt of prayers a day. So Muhammad went up to Allah again and got it reduced by a little. Down came Muhammad, meeting Moses on his way down and again Moses advised him to bargain with Allah on reducing the number of prayers. So Muhammad goes up again to bargain with Allah. This repeated a number of times till the prayers went from 50 to 5. Moses should have hit Muhammad with the 2 tablets for being so stupid.

Re: What would Moses do about Mohammed?
LOL that story really says quite a lot about Mohammed and his "Allah". First of all, Mohammed needs Moses to help him. He is like Mohammed's political advisor or spin doctor.
Furthermore, Allah can be bargained with and has no idea what constitutes a reasonable request. Why would Allah need to inspect Muslims' backsides five times a day anyway? Why at certain in times, in a certain fashion, using only certain ARABIC words?
The only thing that surprises me about this stupid tale is that Muslims are not ashamed of it.
Suppose this silly tale was true, what then about the claim that Adam, Moses or Jesus among others all were Muslims? How many times a day did they pray and what were the words used? And where was their qibla? How did they keep Ramadan? And the Hajj? Pay zakat?
If they did not pray, fast or visit Mecca then they must have been HERETICAL Muslims, or, of course. all modern Muslims are.

Moses and Jesus never declared the religion brought by them is complete and perfect.
Muslims do not worship the Prophet/Messenger as Christians worship Jesus and Mary.
The Christians claimed that Jesus was God, the son of God, the Satanic Trinity was introduced: Jesus, the son is God, the Father is God, the Holy Spirit is God Then Mary was proclaimed the mother of God, so she too was to be worshiped. The Christians have become like the pagans worshiping idols such as Jesus, Mary and the Holy Spirit. This is called idolatry and is punished by eternal hell. Christians are deceived by the devil's deception is that they believe that the Holy Spirit can possess them while in reality it’s rather the demon spirits which possess them.

Re: What would Moses do about Mohammed?
By your own admission, Mohammed's religion is incompatible with the beliefs of Moses (and also Jesus, why did he get a mention in this topic, I wonder?)...Moses and Jesus never declared the religion brought by them is complete and perfect.
So how could the religion of Mohammed be a "perfection" of that of Moses?
Moses forgot to allow wife beating and child abuse?
A seed of a flower produces a flower, and the egg of a crocodile produces a crocodile. The religion od Moses and the religion of Mohammed are as different as a flower and a crocodile.
Just because Mohammed "borrowed" some stories and ideas from Mosaic tradition, in means it is a perfection?
So if Gert Wilders borrows quotes from the Qur'an he is improving Islam?
Yes they do: "Insulting" Mohammed is "blasphemy". Even naming a teddy bear "Mohammed" is "blasphemy". Allah was Mohammed's creation, and as he created is god in his image, Allah is as mean a cruel as Mohammed was.Muslims do not worship the Prophet/Messenger

Oh SAM, are you claiming that your perfect Allah sent down all 124,000 messengers BEFORE Muhammad...all of them with an imperfect message?SAM wrote: Moses and Jesus never declared the religion brought by them is complete and perfect.
Only when Muhammad appeared did Allah gave a complete and perfect religion?
How does Muhammad end up with a perfect religion when all he was sent to do was to confirm the bible and the Torah?
I would have thought it was the other way round. One obviously can disparage Allah and the reaction from muslims are somewhat mild to non existent. But, when you criticise Muhammad, muslims start foam raging at the mouth.SAM wrote: Muslims do not worship the Prophet/Messenger as Christians worship Jesus and Mary.
And by the way, Islamic version of Trinity is God, Jesus and Mary, not God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Was that a deliberate attempt by you to deflect any criticism of the flawed Islamic version?

Moses and Jesus brought the same message of Abraham and his God.manfred wrote:

Abraham, he did not know about Moses, Jesus and other prophets and messengers, he only knew one person is Muhammad who would accomplish his religion...Islam. Without this five Prophet genuine, no one can meet Allah, which is why the prophets and messengers before Muhammad was born, their religious teaching is incomplete, except Muhammad. (This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.)So how could the religion of Mohammed be a "perfection" of that of Moses?
Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, all of them still exist or, in other words still alive in Muslim daily lives.
For mainstream Muslim but not to Mukmin. They know that the real Muhammad mentioned in the Koran, is not Muhammad ibn Abdullah.Yes they do: "Insulting" Mohammed is "blasphemy". Even naming a teddy bear "Mohammed" is "blasphemy".
Moses, he only just catch a glimpse of Allah, he had fainted, and Jesus, he never met with Allah until this day, he's still hanging in 2nd place in heaven. Only Muhammad met Allah face to face. Only true believers Muklmin, know the image of Allah, one of them is me ....Allah was Mohammed's creation, and as he created is god in his image, Allah is as mean a cruel as Mohammed was.
