All the Prophets and Messenger since Adam already knew about Muhammad before his arrival. All source of information came from God himself.

Let me explain: Muhammad supposedly met Moses on his way to see Allah. Then Allah ordered 50 prayers a day. Moses advised Muhammad to ask Allah to lower the amt of prayers a day. So Muhammad went up to Allah again and got it reduced by a little. Down came Muhammad, meeting Moses on his way down and again Moses advised him to bargain with Allah on reducing the number of prayers. So Muhammad goes up again to bargain with Allah. This repeated a number of times till the prayers went from 50 to 5. Moses should have hit Muhammad with the 2 tablets for being so stupid.
