Islam's expansion.

Please help me out here. I need to know how/when modern Islamic nations got Islamized.
Morocco, Turkey, Syria, and so on. The more specifics the better.

I don't know much about this, but I do know that the muslims invaded the Iberian Peninsula under the command of Tariq Ibn Ziyad in the year 711. To do so, they have to cross the Strait of Gibraltar (Gibraltar coming from the arab 'gebrel tariq', Tariq's mountain). The first muslim expansions into Berber North-Africa seem to have happened from the year 670 to 680. Ibn Ziyad is rumored to have possibly been a Berber.

I don't know about Turkey or Syria. However, the Byzantine Empire ended in 1453. The Ottomans took over completely after that, but had been on the rise before.

True. I think it has some importance because its strange non-Arab Muslims take Islam in pride while the only reason they are Muslim is because they had been conquered and subdued. Its my plan to adress them no longer as Muslims but preferably a more fitting, arab name. For the same reason i call all black Muslim(or sympathetic too) Abeds.

One thing i know is that Morroco became Arabized in the 11th century when the Fatamid caliphate send the banu hilal as punishment for their defiance, Funny thing is, berbers have been second class ever since. In their own lands!

Martel & Sobiesky should have a day of celebration, in Europe us kaffirs would be in the same situation as them without those heroes.

Morocco 2012 Hasan 2 was a zionist. Tunis 2011 Hijab was illegal in school Turkey quiet some time now. Syria they worship Bashar al Assad as God there and have some weird kind of trinty. Not really Islamic. After Bashars fall we will se. Egypt we will se on Sunday.

Thanks all. It seems no currently Islamic country has been Islamized without any attempt at using force. Most Islamic nations are simply the graves of once infidel nations who buckled under the pressure of the Islamic raiders. Jonah too is most likely offspring of a weak tribe or culture which perished, he could have been a free, sane boy who didn't have to defend a religion of rape and massmurder in fears of leaving it.

Its clear how important the struggle against Islam is. More global resources or indepth resources are welcome!
