The Meccans foolishly entered into a 10 year agreement with the Muslims where the Meccans would let the Muslims pilgrimage to the Kaaba once per year for three days while they left the city. This worked out fine the first year, but the second year when the Muslims returned for pilgrimage, there were now 10,000 of them and all armed. so the second pilgrimage was actually an invasion. Now Muhammad had all sorts of excuses about Meccans helping someone else, but there were really invented excuses to breach a treaty he never intended on keeping in the first place for one second longer than he had to.piscohot wrote:In fact, the muslims were allowed to do pilgrimage even though they at war with each other. But the minute Muhamamd gain power in Mecca, the first thing he did was to destroy the other stones.
Which brings the real intention of Muhammad from the day of his preaching Islam to the surface- getting rid of all other religions. Hence we can see all the revelations about 'No comuplsion in religion'and 'to your your religion and to me mine' were nothing but lies to put non muslims off guard until Muhammad was strong enough to do carry out his plans.
Did Muhammad ever intend to keep that treaty for all 10 years when he entered into it??? Of course not. This was the first practice of "hudna" and this is where it came from. Hudna is a Muslim concept that allows one to enter into treaties with the enemies so as to gain time to build up and lull them into a false sense of security. As the 20% profit himself even said "War is Deception", and this is precisely what he was practicing. Do you think it would ever be acceptable for Allah's messenger and his people to have to "borrow" the Kaaba for only a few days if it could be taken altogether instead?? So the moment Muhammad had a large enough army, out comes the excuse and then the invasion. He never had one single intention of keeping that treaty for 10 years and in fact, he couldn't have had that intention because the moment he gets strong enough, Allah would require him to take the Kaaba whether the full 10 years has elapsed or not. So when he represented himself as accepting a 10 year period, he was clearly lying as he even knew when he entered into the agreement, that 10 years would never be acceptable. So he bought time to build up and didn't waste a second conquering the moment he was strong enough. The Meccans were fools and therefore were deceived.
