I hope it doesn't look too petty when I point something like this out, but every time we try to argue with BMZ he deplores our ignorance of Arabic; if he claims such expertise in Arabic it should be only be fair for us to look for the odd flaw in his writing.

His point about the various scripts of Arabic makes no sense as this came up in a discussion of Koranic Arabic - indeed BMZ was trying to prove that Kursi means something different in classical versus modern Arabic.
