Re: Is Allah the worst communicator ever?

Mughal the best description (in my view) of "hell" is the one provided by the orthodox churches.
I call it the Cannabis hypothisis.
Many people have tried cannabis. Some really like it, and others find it revolting at get sick even at the the smell of it.
Heaven and hell is like that. Some people rejoice in the presence of God and they are in "heaven". Others, also having the same experience, the presence of God, are totally turned off and therefore are in "hell".
Heaven and ell are mindsets. Another way to describe the same idea is to look at how people behave to each other. Some create a hell for themselves and others, while some also make the world a better place.
A man who thinks he is "entitled" to receive everything he wants from the world will in the end become lonely and bitter. A man who wants to give all he can to the world will make many friends and will lead a happy and fulfilled life.
My own father spent his last years a very bitter old man. He refused to make any friends with the people in the care home he was in because he said everybody was "either mad or stupid". At the same time complained he was lonely, with some 50 people all round him every day. Others in that home pitied him, but they would not allow him to disrupt their social activities and fun. At first many tried to make him join, staff and residents, but in the end they gave up.
His last few years were a living hell, for him. But he was the one who decided to live in it.
