Koran faults 27:(6):130:Are there Messengers to the devils?

Koran faults 27: The Cattle (6):130

Does Allah send his Messengers to the devils?

And if so, are they humans or also devils?
And if the messenger is human, if he is send to the devils, is he a devilish messenger?
Can there ever be a messenger of the true God who takes the devils as companions?
Some Muslim commentators said that Mohammad was sent to both humans and devils (jin).
You will notice that QXP and Asad translation are attempting to mistranslate to avoid this Koran mistake.

Literal
You the Jinn's and the human's race , did not messengers from you come to you, they relay/inform on you My verses/evidences and warn you (of) this your day's/time's meeting (your meeting at this day/time)? They said: "We witnessed/testified on our selves." And the life the present/worldly life had deceived/tempted them, and they witnessed/testified on themselves that they were disbelieving.

Yusuf Ali
"O ye assembly of Jinns and men! came there not unto you messengers from amongst you, setting forth unto you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. So against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected Faith.

Pickthal
O ye assembly of the jinn and humankind! Came there not unto you messengers of your own who recounted unto you My tokens and warned you of the meeting of this your Day? They will say: We testify against ourselves. And the life of the world beguiled them. And they testify against themselves that they were disbelievers.

Arberry
'Company of jinn and mankind, did not Messengers come to you from among you, relating to you My signs and warning you of the encounter of this your day?' They shall say, 'We bear witness against ourselves.' They were deluded by the present life, and they bear witness against themselves that they were unbelievers.

Shakir
O assembly of jinn and men! did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My communications and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours? They shall say: We bear witness against ourselves; and this world's life deceived them, and they shall bear witness against their own souls that they were unbelievers.

Sarwar
When people and jinn are asked, "Did not Messengers from your own people come to you to convey Our revelations and to warn you of the Day of Resurrection?" They will reply, "(Yes indeed)." The worldly life deceived them. They will testify that they were unbelievers.

Khalifa
O you jinns and humans, did you not receive messengers from among you, who narrated to you My revelations, and warned you about the meeting of this day? They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves." They were totally preoccupied with the worldly life, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

Hilali/Khan
O you assembly of jinns and mankind! "Did not there come to you Messengers from amongst you, reciting unto you My Verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. And they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

H/K/Saheeh
"O company of jinn and mankind, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say, "We bear witness against ourselves"; and the worldly life had deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

Malik
At that time Allah will also ask: "O Assembly of Jinns and mankind! Did not there come to you the Messengers from amongst you who proclaimed to you My revelations and warned you about the meeting of this Day?" They will reply: "Yes they did, We bear witness against our own souls." Today this worldly life has deceived them but on that Day they will testify against themselves that they were indeed kuffar (unbelievers).[130]

QXP
O You, assembly of the nomads and the urbanites! Did not Messengers come to you from among you, who conveyed to you My Messages and warned you of the meeting of this your Day? They will say, "We testify against ourselves." Pursuit of only the worldly life preoccupied their hearts and minds. They will bear witness against themselves that they disregarded the Truth.

Maulana Ali
O community of jinn and men, did there not come to you messengers from among you, relating to you My messages and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours? They will say: We bear witness against ourselves. And this world’s life deceived them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

Free Minds
"O you tribes of Jinn and humans, did not messengers come to you from amongst you and relate to you My revelations, and warn you of the meeting of this Day?" They said: "Yes, we bear witness upon ourselves;" and the worldly life deceived them, and they bore witness on themselves that they were rejecters.

Qaribullah
'Jinn and human, did there not come to you Messengers of your own who narrated to you My verses and warned you of encountering this Day? ' They will reply: 'We bear witness against ourselves. ' Indeed, the life of this world beguiled them. They will bear witness against themselves that they were unbelievers.

O company of genii and men, did not messengers from among your selves come unto you, rehearsing my signs unto you, and forewarning you of the meeting of this your day? They shall answer, we bear witness against our selves: The present life deceived them: And they shall bear witness against themselves that they were unbelievers.

JM Rodwell
O race of Djinn and men! came not apostles to you from among yourselves, rehearsing my signs to you, and warning you of the meeting of this your day? They shall say, "We bear witness against ourselves." This world's life deceived them; and they shall bear

Asad
[And thus will God continue:] "O you who have lived in close communion with [evil] invisible beings and [like-minded] humans! Have there not come unto you apostles from among yourselves, who conveyed unto you My messages and warned you of the coming of this your Day [of Judgment]?" They will answer: "We do bear witness against ourselves!"-for the life of this world had beguiled them: and so they will bear witness against themselves that they had been denying the truth.

more questions:

Did the jinns too get a 'book' from Allah just like the christians, jews and musilms did?

Do they have to somehow ignore their own 'messenger' and profess Muhammad as the messenger of Allah when they do the shahada?

Do they need to do wudu?

Are they really fuel for the fire?

072.015
YUSUFALI: 'But those who swerve,- they are (but) fuel for Hell-fire'-
PICKTHAL: And as for those who are unjust, they are firewood for hell.
SHAKIR: And as to the deviators, they are fuel of hell:

I always thot men and stones were fuel for he fire.

002.024
But if ye cannot- and of a surety ye cannot- then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones,- which is prepared for those who reject Faith.

There's just too much illogical, nonsensical and contradictory verses in the quran for one to believe that it came from an almighty god.
If only muslims can get past the brainwash on the 'poetic' beauty of the quran and truly scrutinize the verses.

*muslims: :nono: :worthy: :turban:
Quran miracle (16:69) : Bees eat fruits
For the 'beauty' of the quran, muslims are willing to abandon their logic and conscience.

Reading the Koran in English it is neither beautiful nor "poetic".

An Almighty who should know ALL the languages of the world MUST be able to produce a book that is "peotic and beautiful" when read in ANY language; after all we all descended from Adam and Eve whom HE created.
