Abulfeda mentions the exclamation of Ali, who washed his body after his death, “O propheta, certe penis tuus cælum versus erectus est” (in Vit. Mohammed. p. 140).

So Ali - his son-in-law and his cousin, had exclaimed: "O prophet, thy penis is erect unto the sky!"

Abulfeda (Abu al-Fida or Abul Fida Ismail Hamvi) was a Kurd, writing in the 13th -14th century:

He was having sex with Ayesha when he died. Someone wrote an article about this on the main site several months ago and I remember in the article Muhammed yelled Allahu Akbar when he dropped dead and Ayesha had no idea he died.

When someone dies rigor mortis starts to set in and the body becomes stiff. Muhammed's penis was in Ayesha when he died and his companions had trouble covering him up.

I don't like to use Hadith to refute lies because I do believe that Hadith itself is so full of lies but I'm going to use it anyway to prove the writer's obvious intent (since she used it to tell her lies).

So according to Hadith the prophet was gravely ill during his last days in Medina and he was hoping that he'd die in Aicha's house. Anyone who reads Hadith knows that the prophet was living in agony his last days until he died. And just before his death, one of the companions who was present during the prophet's death, had a Siwak in his mouth, Aicha feeling that the prophet wished to have some Siwak, she took it from that companion, cut it, and chewed it to make it soft enough for the dying prophet. According to Hadith, using this Siwak was the last thing the prophet did before dying (hence the alleged disgusting brag of Aicha that her saliva was the last thing to enter his mouth since she chewed the Siwak to soften it before she gave it to the prophet).

Now apparently, the liar, Ayesha Ahmed, wasn't disgusted enough by the alleged report of Aicha bragging about the Siwak incident, she went on to fabricate a whole story about the prophet dying suddenly while having sex with his wife! Such is the behavior of shameless liars.

Moreover, the liar goes on to claim that the prophet didn't mention the name of God when he died when the fact is, according to Hadith, he kept mentioining God until he died. Does the liar stop here? No, she goes on to claim that when he died he maintained his erection (remember the liar claimed that he was in climax before dying contradicting all Hadiths). The liar not only ignores Hadith she's using to fabricate her lies, she also ignores a basic medical fact that no one can maintain an erection after death.

The amazing thing is that Hadith is already so full of lies and disgusting stories, but I wonder: why can't liars like Ayesha Ahmed stick to the lies within Hadith? Why the urge to lie through her teeth, to fabricate even more lies?

Yes my friend - I do. It usually happens after a violent death, rather than a peaceful one. I saw an authentic photo of a 2004 Tsunami victim who had this condition - and traditionally it happened to people who had been hanged (hence the expression "well-hung").

If someone had a stroke or other brain embolism, as possibly described in your linked Hadith, it could happen.

Additionally, decomposition could cause this to happen (as may have occurred in the tsunami victim):

To tell you the truth, I'm not so sure if this is possible.

A Post-mortem erection (technically a priapism- a medical condition in which the erect sexual organ does not return to its flaccid state within four hours[1]) has been observed in the corpses of human males.[2] Interestingly, it has also been witnessed in the animal kingdom. Possibly the most famous occurrence being in the Berezovka Mammoth,[3] discovered in 1900. While it is usually observed in victims of hangings, it can also be found in victims of violent deaths by poisoning, fatal gunshot wounds to the brain, or a stroke or other brain embolisms. And it can also be caused by decomposition.[4]

Assuming that you had a fully erect penis at the very instance of death, It would have to collapse asap. I don't think it's possible to hold it, keep it up, maintain it for another 4 minutes--let alone 4 hours.

If there's a pathologist on the forum who could enlighten us, then by all means.

Yes he would. I have seen mortuary photos where the arousal has been maintained. Also a young Nicaraguan hanging victim. These apparently were taken at least a day after the event.

When a body dies, blood tends to pool at the lower parts, and this gives rise to patches of lividity. We kept my dead mother in the hospital bed or about four hours until my sister could get to see her, and in that short time, the parts resting on the bed were "bruising" purple.

But because of the sponge-like nature of the corpus cavernosum you must realise that if an erection is maintained at death, the circulation would stop at death. The blood would thicken and start to coagulate in the spongelike tubules within the two erectile strips that run along the length of the penis. Remember too that many veins have flap-like valves within (see pic), that are designed to hinder backflow of blood. I am not able to find info, but I assume that the veins leading out of the corpus cavernosum would have well-developed valves. These would catch the thickening blood and in the fine cavities in the corpus cavernosum (whose fine tubes probably act as vein valves) there would be more chances of the blockages forming, keeping the erection fully intact until decomposition begins.

In warm weather, bacterial actions would start within a couple of hours after death, with aerobic bacteria active in the blood vessels, lungs and skin, and in the gut and bowel and deep tissues, anaerobic bacteria would start to ferment, creating wonderful substances like putrescene.

But in the blood vessels, a lot of activity goes on. The anaerobic bacteria make the flesh and gut contents swell up. But when the flesh is grossly distended and just before the epidermis gets the appearance of ripped cellophane and starts to slough off (after just a few days in warm weather) the blood vessels go nearly black, swell up near the surface of the skin and give a marbling effect far more pronounced than initial lividity.
