Well I've been in the Old Forum searching for threads and I saw that it was tampered quite a lot.
Mainly by replacing words like 'Islam' and 'Muhammad' by... 'Europe' and 'Ali Sina' ! I mean everywhere !

A simple check over the 'Muhammad' main will show it eloquently. As in all other mains !!

It's not only in the titles, but in the texts within and even the links given !

I never really look at that... Thanks for pointing that out. I found that someone added some word censor entries, which are meant to prevent obscene comments, but have been used to put words into people's mouths. This means someone managed to get into the admin, which is quite worrying.

I have also removed those filters, and closed all admin accounts except for mine, and I changed my password there.

We need someone who want to keep an eye on these fora so that they do not get messed with. Anyone who would like to do that?

Great ! I was afraid of the Old Forum being defaced permanently. Great relief indeed !

Maybe you could also update the links in the sub of Resource Center. Links are either broken or messy...

As for someone looking over them, I'd suggest Ibn Rushd or yeezevee for their long interest therein.

Best Wishes.

So.... yeezevee Ibn Rushd, or you...
is anyone interested? It would be a very burdensome thing, just making sure the links are working, it's not crashed and nobody messes with it. A few minutes a week...

I didn't see these last 2 comments on here. I noticed just now though, that "forum2" is not working. It says "debug mode". I think that would be a good idea to check it over. I assume you mean just as ordinary users, not admins? Perhaps Yeez has not seen this thread either. Maybe sum could also help.

I fixed that... Are there some more like that? Since that move onto the new server few things are working well...

hello manfred i was checking a topic for post of an old friend in the Old ffi forum at viewtopic.php?f=69&t=2123

it seems there are no posts in that forum from that 2nd link of your opening post http://www.faithfreedom.org/forum2/

I am just curious they are gone or the format got messed up..

with best wishes
yeezevee

I checked that... one big mess. I need to ask Ali what I should do. ALL the users except for 3 have been deleted. The posts are still there but they don't show because they have an invalid user ID. I could give them a new one, but it will make an even bigger mess, because there is no easy way of telling which user posted what... What do you think is best? I could give all the posts "anonymous" as a username... then we can see all the posts again but it will look weird...

How about a user name like "Forgotten Poster" so at least it won't look as though they've really been posted anonymously? Will most have them have quotes, like "Fred said"? If so anyone seriously interested in the thread will have a rough idea who's speaking, or will those names have gone too?

I checked and Ali wants it gone because there is very little empty space on the server. I will get an old backup of him and put the whole thing onto a different server, the one which has the temporary Dutch forum.

Sounds like FFI needs some money. Is there any way one can contribute anonymously?
Edit:
I'm not worried about FFI stalwarts knowing who I am, but those hackers - including governmental ones - can be quite good.
