Hi fantasea - yeah, not the best situation, that's for sure.....
Are your family quite devout or are they fairly relaxed about Islam?

Not the easiest of situations to be in, that's for sure. I hope things go ok for you.

Hi everyone !

I'm new to this forum, I am an Australian ex-muslim, nice to meet you proud gay christian, and everyone else here.

I'll probably write a testimony some time soon, Islam is the reason I suffered almost four years of depression, anxiety, OCD and self harm.
Freedom from the confines of Islam is liberating, over the years i was convinced there was something wrong with me, beating myself (literally) over and over because I constantly felt fear and guilt... AND that's just what islam does to you. It's main tools (in my opinion) are fear and guilt.

Welcome RedOak. I hope you find a home here. It's been kind of dead compared to several years ago. There's lots of good articles and threads to read though.
