Manfred was very ill too - he asked me if he could get his brother to pass on to me his details if something happened, so I could relay it here, but I have heard nothing, and I assume his brother isn't thinking a web forum is that important.

Pardon my ignorance, but why should you have a problem with people liking Ahmed?

He had a great sense of humor, respected the rights of his family members not to be threatened or insulted, and took a lot of time to explain to people particular passages from the Koran. He could be stroppy when people sneered at him or insulted him, but I respected that.

And I liked his little animated insults.....
