I am a fresh new apostate!

Hello everybody! I am an 18 years old male ex-muslim who left islam a few months ago after reading Dr. Ali sina's articles. I can't believe that even a few months ago I was someone as disgusting as a muslim. I feel great after becoming an atheist. The shackles of islam finally broke when the light of Ali sina's articles was shed on it. I feel so free after leaving islam that I can't describe it. No longer I have to think about waking up at 05:00 am to pray fazr, or ruining my wudu by farting, or damaging my iman by accidently staring at an extremely beautiful woman, or avoiding faithfreedom.org. I can now finally act as an adult and make decisions according to my will. I owe my freedom to Ali sina. He helped me spot the hidden cracks and holes in islam with his beautifully written articles. I think I might have never left islam if it weren't for Ali sina's help.
Now that I am free, I want to do something for the mankind and make this world a more beautiful place. But to do that, I need money and superhuman intelligence. Without these two things you can't do much in this world besides sitting on your butt. Sadly, I possess none of these two things. I am just a fool who dreams about becoming someone great but achieves nothing in life. I think I should just suicide.
Anyway, sorry for wasting your time. I posted this here just to feel like an official apostate. Whoever you are, wherever you are, may peace be upon you. Sorry for my terrible english.

Hello Buddy,
Welcome! You are just 18 and you have a long life ahead. Do not ever think of committing suicide. Life is never the same. It keeps on changing and when it changes you feel like a fool looking back because you realize that you were unnecessarily worried and it was stupid of you to think about suicide.

You do not have to be super intelligent to achieve something. I am of the opinion that one who is more adaptable to change and one who is persistent is the one who ultimately wins the battle and not the most intelligent one. You also do not have to contribute anything monetarily. Wait for the right time until you start earning money if you want to contribute. Till that time, you can start educating other muslims about dangers of islam. Conceal your identity while debating muslims online. You never know what the other person can do. So welcome once again and I hope to see your posts here. If possible, you can invite muslims on this forum for a discussion.

That is all wonderful and I am glad you are reading FFI and you read articles from Ali and other wonderful folks ., BUT ..but common 18 years old male ex-muslim youngman It is OK to question but stop hating and start educating folks ., So I would say you should nick yourself as "educatorrofislamcx007" Not Hater., Islam is just a concept it is just few books, there is no point of hating books but educating the folks on what is there in those books is indeed worth doing..

And welcome to FFI..

with best wishes

A very warm welcome to you, haterofislamcx007!

It is *great* that you've found out the truth about Islam so early in your life! You can indeed be of help (there is no need to be super-intelligent).
One of the best ways to help out is to let people know about this forum (and the main faithfreedom.org site). You could also let them know about the links in my sig (just below all of my posts). Spread those links far and wide!

Best wishes - bye for now -

I do agree with yeezvee's recommendation. No good comes out of hatred. Best is be rational and approach your change of religious belief, with open mind, and intellectual retrospective. Hatred begets hatred.

Many other former Muslim experience the same transformation. They are blind obedience to Islam, and belief all they are told about Mohammad, as true - until, they examine other religions - Judea & Christianity in particular. Then, all they were taught up to that point, simply does not add up, nor meet basic common sense.

How can a religion assert itself as "true religion, and claim it existed 2700 years before it actually came out (in 7th century) w/o any shred of evidence to back up that theory.. Then, the basic question which all ask. "Who was Mohammad", and "why one has to take his words, with no questions asked?.

Most glaring revelation is, when they read the Hebrew & Bible & New Testament, to realize, all those biblical stories told in Quran, already told hundreds and thousand years earlier.
