Re: Hello friends ;)Hello Auzer, welcome to the forum.
Here is the answer to your question. I am a lifelong atheist. Never had a religion. Don't need it. "Brother, you can believe in stones, as long as you don’t throw them at me." - Wafa Sultan
Re: Hello friends ;)Hello Auzer, I'm new as well although I've posted once or twice here in the past.
I became more interested in religion after living in a 'moderate' Muslim country for one year. I'm a catholic but I didn't know that much about my religion until moving there. I started going to church again regularly, and later began reading the Koran. I also started visiting this website and others, such as answering-islam.org. I came to the conclusion that Islam and Christianity have very, very little in common. It's time the rest of the world finds out! Welcome, btw ;-)! How long have you been reading this website before you joined?
Re: Hello friends ;)Halim from which "moderate" Muslim country are you from? And well, Christianity has many things in common with Islam but yeah, Judaism and Islam are almost same religion lol...And thanks for the site !! I have been reading about Christianity too..here is a good site you may want to look at ..

Re: Hello friends ;)
The only differnce between Christianity and Islam is Jesus Christ. Rest is same. As a matter of Fact the only moral person in the entire semetic religious culture was Jesus...the rest all were barbarians. Abraham,Allah,Muhammed,Yahweh,Mosess,joshua,david,solomn...allll evil to the core. ![]() Love Jihad against Hindu and Christian Girls

Re: Hello friends ;)Hello Auzer, to reply to your question, I'm actually 100% European and Christian with a tiny bit of Jewish roots (I found out by coincidence). Unfortunately I cannot tell you which Muslim country I lived in for a year as I am currently engaged to a Muslim-born atheist from that country, and I don't want any Muslims to be able to put two and two together and find out who I am ;-). My soon-to-be hubby and I just want to live a normal, non-halal and non-Sharia compliant life here in my home country. He doesn't care about religion(s) although he likes to watch programmes from the History Channel about the dead sea scrolls etc. He knows I am involved in undermining Islam, he doesn't care at all.
But enough about me. It took me some time and life experience to come to exactly these views on Islam and I'm in my early-mid thirties, but I gather you're quite a bit younger. About what age are you? Anyway great to develop a critical mind towards Islam at any stage in life, but the younger the better ;-)!!
Re: Hello friends ;)
Yup I'm a PROUD Muslim !!!!! . . . . Now go back and read my introductory post ![]()
Re: Hello friends ;)
Wow...lot of insecurity right there lol ..I guess you really like that ex-Muslim guy Anyways,he is an atheist..you're a devout Christian...doesn't it bothers you? And I've develop a critical mind towards all religion so I'm double good. For me , Christianity is way,way more irrational than Islam..no offense though lol. Yes,I'm way younger..atleast by 10 years ![]()

Re: Hello friends ;)Well, for those of you saying there is very little difference between Islam and Christianity: you are entitled to your view, and many people will tend to share it. And don't worry, a true Christian may perhaps get offended but that's alright, we don't tend to kill people over that ;-). Not sure how Muslims feel about being compared to Christians, though, even though many of them seem to be under the misguided impression that all of the love-your-neighbour kind of teachings of Christianity also apply to Islam, the 'christianised version of Islam', as it is called by Mark Gabriel, a Muslim-born Christian preacher who previously taught Islamic History at Sunni Islam's most prestigious centre of learning, Al-Azhar University. But in many instances, Islam teaches the EXACT OPPOSITE of Christianity. Never even mind the divinity of Jesus. Some examples: Christianity barely has any food rules, as Jesus stated that nothing that enters the body can make a person clean or un-clean. Islam has halal food. But you can eat halal your entire life yet still be a horrible person! Christianity teaches that God will forgive an individual's sins, if that person is willing to forgive those who have sinned against him/her. Islam teaches that Allah will forgive your sins, if those whom you have sinned against forgive you. So if you are lucky and those whom you have sinned against forgive you, those sins are forgiven, even if you refuse to forgive others who have sinned against you and as a consequence Allah will not forgive them. Does this seem right, or even logical? Thirdly, the primary and ultimate example for Christians is Jesus, who was innocent yet gave His life for others, instilling Christians with a sense of guilt (everything is my/our fault) and a willingness to sacrifice oneself for the benefit of others. Muslims as a group however never seem to express guilt, always blame others, and are more than willing to sacrifice innocent lives. Even though the vast majority of Muslims would never in their lives commit such atrocities themselves, one rarely if ever at all meets a Muslim who condemns these killings... As you see, Islam is a perversion of Christianity. If you want to learn more I recommend Walid Shoebat! Shalom...
Re: Hello friends ;)Hey Auzer, seems you are closer in age to my almost-husband than to me. Never mind, he is mature enough for me. Actually it doesn't bother me at all that he is an atheist. I would be bored to death if we agreed on everything.
As for the answering-christianity website, thanks but I was already aware of the existence of the site. It's supposed to be a bit of mental-intellectual-religious ping-pong between the two major 'religions' on this Earth, right? (I consider Christianity a religion, but Islam is a political, social, unspiritual mass movement pretending to be a religion). I am starting to wonder if you are not a closet Muslim, in which case you are a coward. Btw if you are I hope you realise that many Muslims debating Christians on theological matters end up converting. This even happened to one former contributer of answering-christianity. Just thought I'd warn you ;-). I must tell you I have read several websites promoting Islam, including some promoted by the Saudi Government, undoubtedly with a lot of money. I must say that with each one of those sites I found that Islam is intellectually very weak. It claims to be the 'most logical religion'. Well, I'm the fourth generation of my family holding a University degree, having been raised in one of the toughest educational systems in this world, and I would say that even those Saudi-sponsered sites have left me positively... underwhelmed. Even for people who were not born with an IQ of 130 or more and drilled from a young age it is pretty apparent Islam has very little to offer in terms of intellectual stimulation. Of course, some people don't like their brains to be stimulated... Up to you to prove you can take it ;-)!
Re: Hello friends ;)
haha I didn't know that there exists a term "Closet Muslim" ...I thought its only for Atheists I pointed out Answering-Christianity purposely. You were giving answering-Islam to me in your first post. You yourself know that Answering-Islam is propaganda site just as Answering-Christianity.com,you know this for sure because afterall you're a university grad. Also, I know you're talking through your emotions but Islam DOES make MORE sense in his basic doctrine and teachings.I'm not going deep into theological issues but over here in America, the dear "Christians" can't even explain trinity to me (They accept that its confusing). And I really don't care who converts or who doesn't ..There are many Christians converting to Islam and vice versa..who cares? By the way, which Answering-Christianity author converted to Christianity? Nabeel Qureshi was a Ahmadi ...Also,Farhan Qureshi is an agnostic like me ...I don't know about any other one..Also,why you think that I might be a closet Muslim? One thing I must tell you ...Christians are very, very INSECURE about Islam..which makes Islam a clear victor in this on-going religious ping pong as pointed out...In one of my post..I even said that Jesus didn't exist...A Muslim would be killed for saying that duhh ![]()
Re: Hello friends ;)
It was an OBVIOUS sarcasm...The guy is asking me if I am a Muslim...whereas in the first line of my introductory post..I wrote that I'm an agnostic ..
Re: Hello friends ;)Hello Auzer
The reason that I asked if you were a muslim is simply because your posts appeared to have an anti-Christian slant which is typical of muslims. You appear to have a rather flippant manner but I suppose that this might be explained by your youth which hopefully will improve as you mature. sum

Would you care to explain? What did I say in my first two posts which struck you as typical "anti-Christian" slant ? ![]()
