Re: Are You a Fascist?

I have no problem with the average suburban cop, but cannot stand the sight of the average priest who lives on Mount Olympus, and who has lost touch with reality by ignoring the teachings of the humble Carpenter of Nazareth. Why not like them both? If most all religions have ascetics or groups livi...

Re: Are You a Fascist?

If your score is... You are... Less than 2...............A whining rotter. 2 to 3......................A liberal airhead. 3 to 4.5 ...................Within normal limits; an appropriate score for an American. (The overall average score for groups tested in the original study is listed in the 1950 ...

Re: Are You a Fascist?

My score 3.3, which in reality means nothing. However, my instinctive reaction is always to side with the underdog --- in word and deed --- and I have an acute natural aversion to any form of authority predicated on force, or the threat thereof in the pursuit of subjective so-called ideals, such as ...

Re: Show us then, Muslims, that Mohammed was a prophet.

@Zia Shah, With regard to Muhammad's conquest of Mecca, the very fact that you can speak of it as something wonderful shows how your thinking ability has been destroyed by Islam .The conquest of Mecca was an example of blatant forced conversion by Muhammad. He smashed all the 360 idols around the k...

Re: Show us then, Muslims, that Mohammed was a prophet.

Lotsa stuff Gosh zia, you've copy pasted loads of stuff, mainly dealing with racism, at least in this first post. Contrary to your beliefs, Muslims didn't solve the problem of racism, they were the worst racists themselves . For thousands of years, they scoured Africa for black slaves, it was they ...

Re: Koran 33:50

It's a lovely part of the Koran well worth putting in your list of WTF. "O Prophet (Muhammad SAW)! Verily, We have made lawful to you your wives, to whom you have paid their Mahr (bridal money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage), and those (captives or slaves) whom your r...

Re: Natural Disasters are from Allah

Allah does whatever He wants. No body can stop Him. But we are told in Quran that He does thing with justice and truth. Allah does not do evil and unjust things. So when Allah strikes Haiti and Chile with earthquake, there is a just reason for this. Justice is done by Allah. These people had turned...

Re: Natural Disasters are from Allah

Allah (swt) is the creator of the universe in my eyes and many others. although many of you have said if Allah is all loving and powerfull then why is he causing such disasters etc. This is because this life is only a test , and Allah wants to see if we have full faith in him to deserve i place in ...

Re: Natural Disasters are from Allah

If you help the suffering Haitian victims in any way, you are contradicting the will of Allah by reducing the just punishment ordained by Allah. Question: Are you allowed to help the suffering Haitian victims? Remember, if you help them, you are contradicting Allah's will by reducing their punishme...

Re: Vatican fail

Nietzsche almost got it right in his Der Antichrist (1888). "In truth, there was only one Christian, and he died on the cross". A more apt version: "In truth, there was only one perfect Christian, and he died on the cross". But then, if Christians were perfect why would we need t...

Re: Vatican fail

What if I don't want to move toward their god? I'm all up for it. I'm looking forward to discussing about the possible existence of Thor . Thursday is a propitious day, following on from Odin's (or Mercury's) day, on the heels of the 24 hours dedicated to warlord Mars. Beloved Saturn, what have you...

Re: Atheists' Beliefs (Some questions for Atheists)

I didn't suggest that Genesis 1:1 is prehistoric; in the sentence you quoted I used the word 'god', which is a prehistoric concept... The sound word "God" is no doubt prehistoric, but not the written word which is what appears in Genesis 1:1. There's no doubt that something is a higher-or...

Re: Atheists' Beliefs (Some questions for Atheists)

Represent 'nothing' by zero, 0, and represent 'something' by S; then Nothing = 0 = S - S = Something minus its negative typo error; your "Something minus its negative" should read "Something plus its negative" "Something minus its negative" = S - (-S) = 2 x Something &...

Natural Disasters are from Allah Islam is the world's greatest disaster Ahmed2010, We saw before how your Lord of the Kaaba permitted his temple to be flooded (see page 2 for image of flooded Kaaba in 1941). Now, your moon-god Allah is allowing natural disasters to destroy a mosque in Morocco. What...

Re: Natural Disasters are from Allah

Allah is warning the people that even on the moon or on Jupiter, you will not be able to escape Allah's wrath . Allah created earthquakes on ...

Re: Natural Disasters are from Allah

Allah does what He wills. He is most wise and decides on what is best. Allah orders one things at a certian time, and when situation changes He issues a new commands. How is that absurd? It makes sense to me . Does this make sense to you? http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1376/1401247982_3db4faa70e.jp...

Re: A simple puzzle (for those who hate maths)

It raises a rather good question, though: we are all somewhere for a period of time, no problem there... However, where are we at a POINT in time? A point in time has no duration at all, just as a geometrical point has no dimension. I have not thought of that before, and it is rather disquieting......

Re: Natural Disasters are from Allah

And if the ALL-KNOWING Allah created Satan to be good and then Satan became bad, this would show that Allah is NOT all-knowing, a concept not recognised by Islam. If Allah is ALL-KNOWING, then he obviously KNEW what he was designing when he created SATAN and PRE-DETERMINED Satan's fate. Furthermore...
