Re: Allah does not want to guide everyone

As far as Allah leading them astray, which the Quran clearly does say in multiple places, the lie that Muslims make up for themselves is that they lead themselves astray and the natural forces created by Allah causes a bad heart to go astray but Allah does not directly cause them to go astray, even ...

Re: A question for Eagle.

Hello Eagle Allah is aware that you are not willing to defend Islam. You are like the muslims who did not want to fight when asked to. Please answer my question and stop running away. sum He's not going to do that. This guy has to be one of the biggest, most imaginative, inadvertent liars that I ha...

Re: I declare Islam to be false

I too, remain skeptical. If I remember, iffo has pulled this stunt once before. So no, I don't believe it. I never pulled a stunt before as I always defended Islam here. I have no possible motive to lie about such a serious matter. iffo declaring Islam to be false? I am surprised. I'm surprised whe...

Allah does not want to guide everyone

149. Say: Then Allah's is the conclusive argument; so if He please, He would certainly guide you all.

Shouldn't this say that Allah wants to guide everyone but some people don't want guidance? Instead, it clearly says that Allah does not want to guide some people.

Re: Article on main site about doctrines in Islam

Some Islamic Doctrines by Jon MC : Mar 20, 2013 : 0 Comments Jon MC This was a good article and explains why Muslims feel justified in screaming and killing innocents where they perceive slights from nonmuslim groups. Islam and dhimmi pacts allow them to punish Christians, Jews and other "enemies" ...

Re: Muslims - please prove that Mohammad split the moon

That was a mistranslation. It's supposed to read that Muhammad was so fat that when he bent over one time, he split his pants exposing two moons. Seriously, the most obvious and childishly stupid part about this stupid fairy tale is that if the moon was split, people from all over would see it and w...

Re: Is any of this inaccurate?

Islam is the only religion that sanctions violence, bloodshed and warfare to further its aims of dominance. I'd say this is also true of Christianity, and in fact the Bible is far bloodier than the Quran. Though both are terrible little books. You keep applying these violent verses to Christianity ...

Re: Is any of this inaccurate?

Hi Sum, sorry I just realised you asked Muslims to answer ... I was one up until a few days ago, but when I read "Muslims tell me," my old instincts kicked in :P The first three quotes are Christianity, the last two are Judaism (both from the Talmud.) The first three quotes are not from Christianit...

Re: A question for Eagle.

Islam does not say you should be published, it says you should be killed. Islam is actually a very insecure religion because it thinks it needs fear and oppression to maintain it's legitimacy and it cannot tolerate criticism. In fact, one of the oddest things about the Quran is that instead of merel...

Re: Did Muhammad Help the Poor?

Muhammad did help the poor, and he used the money he extorted from the Christians and Jews to do so. And this extortion happened because Muhammad forbidded the pagans from doing their pilgrimage to their holy site (the kaaba), and since this meant much lost trade, it was time to attack the Christian...

Re: the genius of jizyiah tax

Actually, IBN Kathir gives a very clear cut and historically based explanation of the actual purpose of the jizyah. Basically, it's extortion that is cloaked in the goal of humiliating the non Muslim. It's very very clear. Here's the very clear and historically based tafsir for 9:29. IBN Kathir real...

Arabic rules for the word "say"

I notice that in many places where it appears to be Muhammad talking rather than Allah, the word "say" is added to the beginning of the verse. It almost appears to be an arbitrary addition to the verse. So is the word "say" actually in the Arabic? And if not, what Arabic rule allows the word say to ...

Don't even bother. Anybody can see what's going on. Yeah, Anyone can see that... you don't publish decent answers, spreading them out of context into a ton of smokescreen sophistry.
